Be careful climbing up on that pedestal guys...

...if we win tomorrow though, fair game!

We may lose and then lose again.. but we won't be playing ****e like that.. and I can live with that, we beat them last time and I can't see us losing to them next time unless we fall dramatically or they improve some.

Less than 18k in a so called capital City, playing long ball crap like that? He's the one coming on here spouting about how he thought they were a top 6 side this season, he's deluded watching that. Do you think that the missing fans knew all along?

Perhaps he might wind in some of the condescending crap now.

Sometimes one team playing crap can drag the opponent into playing in a similarity awful way.
For example; if a team constantly hits high balls and plays head tennis then the opposition has no choice but to compete in the same ugly way.
I genuinely cannot tell if both Preston and Cardiff were awful, or if one dragged the other down into playing their way.
Any road up, it’s good for ourselves, Wolves and Derby. As long as Derby don’t win then we stay second no matter what.

No defence over that one - that was easily the worst football I've seen at the CCS this season. Unless something is done to arrest the crap that has crept into our play this past half dozen game - yes, we were lucky to beat Hull 1-0 as well - then we'll slide down the table no question.

It wasn't the fact that we got beat, it was the way we played. We were not "unlucky", the "ref didn't stitch us up" and the fact that Preston time wasted to the nth degree had nothing to do with it - we were rubbish.

Always said Derby was the side to watch for top two,if we can stay above them we have a great chance.
Agree Derby are the team to watch, which is why I was suprised we beat them so convincingly , our performance that day I believe is one of our best this season.
They do have a tendency to blow it towards the end of the season when the pressure is on , though like u said RR if we can finish above them we are likely to be in with a great chance.
Like others I wasn't impressed with Cardiff last night, that said wasn't impressed with Preston either, maybe a bad night for both , we weren't great against Sheffield U either, but still came away with the points.
A long way to go and there will be many twists and turns along the way.
A win today will set us up nicely for a difficult January, today is going to be tough though as Wolves are a good team, will be happy with a point.

We all have off days Sparky, if you are saying it's a trend though then that's worrying from your perspective, for your sake I hope you manage to turn it around , to be honest though from ours I hope you don't..

We've had too many off days of late Ashton. A one off is always going to happen but we haven't been right for a while. It's gone down hill since we stuffed Norwich at the start of the month - probably 5 games now where we deserved next to nothing.

As said many times, all teams have sticky patches - Sheffield Utd have just gone through theirs. It's how quickly you can turn it around that matters.

I’m not expecting anymore than a draw today. It was really a wind up as he predicted us fighting relegation at year end whilst his team were flying high.

Of course you predicted the half season perfectly - see below....<laugh>

Warnock will be charged with goat fiddling, and Johnson will be wall papered all over Redprints house.

That's about as realistic of you lot being top 6, probably correct about our position but will be 18th possibly slightly higher but not far from you lot.

It’s too early to start crowing or crying imho. Cardiff could regain their form and we could tumble. Anything could happen and it’s all there for the taking.
It’s Derby that both Cardiff and us should be worried about.
