We've only won 3 times in 2018 yet sit outside playoffs on goal difference, I think the football gods want us in the playoffs <whistle>

It's difficult to interpret " current form" but Derby have been far worse than you since the New Year - they've only won twice this year and look very shakey.

Easily the best team outside the top 4 in 2018 have been Millwall - they've won 10 games to climb the table and not by fluke either. They're usually cast as the villains of the piece but can play some very good stuff and look a real threat. <ok>

I think Millwall are going to take the last slot, depends on Middlesbrough if there becomes another space. Which will be another surprise taking it.
I think we will finish 8th

Onefor - nothing guaranteed yet, particularly us going up, but I'll have a few bob on us not coming straight back down if we do manage it. <ok>

On the other part of your post...................look out, here they come.........<laugh><laugh>

Looks that way on form ROD, but a result for you at Millwall next week could stop their gallop. Beat Brentford on Monday to kill them off and get set up for what could be a true 6 pointer at the Den.

Don't know what to make of Middlesbrough - big dissappointment given the money they've spent.

I also think Fulham could spoil your season and then you face Villa in the play offs.

Just another thought on that one ROD. If you fancy Fulham for the top 2, they're on 5/1 to do it whereas we're on 1/5 to stay there.

Nice little earner if you're right, so why don't you back up your hunch and put yer dosh down - or is just wishful thinking? :emoticon-0105-wink:

Maybe I got 8/1 a couple of weeks back?
Or more likely because I very rarely bet I didn’t and won’t put money where my mouth is.
I’m so good at gambling I picked a non runner in the works gold cup sweepstake.

We got to start taking the points, others have let us back in as Tom said 3 wins in 2018 is absolute crap.
It is there to take, they need to bloody take the chance.
Monday is a must win,and Millwall is a monster game.

It's OK, means we won't need to play Cardiff for a long time!! As we go up next season, they will be on their way down! <laugh><laugh><laugh>
I'd be happy for that to be a possibility. It would mean we'd got up this year. Still not certain though hull helped with one of the chasers today.
One thing is for certain. There's a lot to play for to get in the top 2, the top 6 and to stay out of the bottom 3. Plenty to play for for plenty of teams.

It's true Milwall have had a good run, but all things being equal every side that has a good run has a bad patch, except Wolves and Cardiff who have pretty much been consistent and the 2 stand out sides in this division (results wise at least).
I expect Milwall to hit their bad patch over the next month and fade away from the play-off picture.

We still have a good shout as 1 of what looks like 5, maybe 6 teams gunning for 2 spots.

Our Play off record is absymal though, at 0 out of 5 attempts in the last 30 years.

Apart from the Warnock comments posted elswhere, what did you think of the game last night - what did it look like on the box? Watching it in the flesh it had just about everything except the result for us. <doh>

Two sides playing the game in their own way whatever you want to make of that. A single goal from an excellent dead ball strike, some blood and thunder stuff and a couple of missed penalties at the death - it's what the Championship is all about.

Still, we're all even in games now as I write and still 5 points clear in 2nd so not all bad - we've both got a lot to play for. Millwall away for you lads today - tough, tough game at the Den for anyone as we found out.
