Cheers Nick - long way to go yet but the Fulham and Villa results yesterday were just what we wanted. Pity our game today was called off - a win for us would have put the icing on the cake.

All we can say at the moment is that we're sure to be in the playoffs and there's no reason why you can't be there at the expense of Derby. In fact after Derby's blatent postponment of our game today for their own purposes, I sincerely hope you do it. <ok>

Derby should have points deducted, disgusting we all have injuries some worse than others.

An absolute disgrace to the game, the fans, and football in general.

A cynical manipulation of the truth about the conditions to avoid playing a game they didn't want to.
Not the first time this has happened either and it wont be the last. A total disgrace and Derby should be docked 10 points for simulation.
It amounts to the same thing..

Sounds like something you would expect from the Warnock football management play book to me. Funny how it’s such a disgrace when your on the flip side of the decision. Dry your eyes Warnock - fan safety comes first!

Supcon, did you see the ground?

Loads of fans made it up there easy enough.

Leicester played their game (not too far away)

AND if it's true, Derby were even advertising their club shop as being open until 4pm (which oddly was changed / removed at a later time).

But hey, I'm sure you'd have been fine if it were your lot travelling up in fine form to play a weakened team eh?
Well, that's if you can remember what being a team in fine form felt like!!!

I liked that is was abandoned otherwise it would of been the first time I actually wanted Cardiff to win. (I’ve had to have another shower today just writing that out)

Hopefully by the time they play the league will be sorted so I never have that thought again <laugh>

Plus to all the Cardiff fans saying it’s only 40 miles apart, you should all know Cardiff to Caerphilly is only 10 miles, and you all know what a difference that makes in snowy weather.

Open another tinnie supcon and take a breath pal - you convicts know nothing over there.

Nothing to do with the pitch - it was pefect - nor the road/public access conditions. The Derbyshire police have already said it wasn't them that called the game off. It was Rowett and his football club that decided they didn't want to play today.

They would have been without Huddlestone on a one game ban for today. They can work that off and do without him for their next home game against Sunderland and be back on the pitch against us. Colin is not a happy man at all.........<laugh>

Blimey, I think we've been on more than any club in the championship.....I know you can't get enough of showing you how the game should be played....but we need to give others a bit of coverage!! :1980_boogie_down::cheesy::1980_boogie_down:

Strange that onefor - Wolves, Cardiff and Villa on 4 times each, Fulham and Derby on 3 times each - nothing to do with being out of the top 6 then? :emoticon-0105-wink:

Ahhh but we also had our amazing cup run, winning against 4 prem teams including the mighty Man U!! All good TV!

Ahh onefor, but just a distant memory now. Reminds of a great Peter Frampton lyric - showing my age eh?

A track I love from his "comes alive" album is called "Lines on my face" and contains the line "you can't erase my dreams, you can only wake me up." :emoticon-0105-wink:

Not football related I know, but so what during the international break. <ok>

After my above reply to onefor just from memory last night, I had to get my old vinyl Frampton Comes Alive album out and play it this morning - probably the first time in 15 years at least - wow, that was mind blowing all over again!

Recorded mid 70's when Frampton was still in his 20's, he's not as heavy as Blackmore or Iommi, but he had a great touch on his Gibson Les Paul. Just had a quick look on youtube and found this Frampton live performance of his song a few years back when he was 60 - you never lose it!!

If you can play this through some decent speakers - I've just got a Q Acoustics M2 soundbase connected by bluetooth to my laptop - you'll be amazed. <ok>

Aye, spot on there onefor - can't hide it now eh? :emoticon-0105-wink:

Born in '57, my musical awareness was started in my early teens by Bowie, Bolan and Frampton - thankfully I just missed the Shadows......<laugh>

Not into any of the modern stuff I'm afraid - it seems anyone with a computer these days can make a record. I just stick to my vinyl, remastered CD's for convenience and internet downloads for anything else.

The point I was making is the speakers on laptops and even top quality TV's are crap when it comes to reproducing music - OK for speech but that's about all. Get something better as an add-on - it'll make all the difference and needn't be expensive either.

Anyway - back to the footy.

This weekend could see you anywhere between 5th and 10th depending on results - we'll have to settle for 2nd whatever happens. Hope Sunderland come up with a surprise win at Derby however unlikely that seems, and Middlesbrough have a tough game against Wolves - it's up to you guys at Barnsley. <ok>

Never really listened to Frampton comes alive, even though I owned it.
Listening to Abosolute today and they play live version “whole lotta Rosie” with Bon Scott singing as well. As much as I like Brian Johnson it was great to hear Bon again. Mentioning it as If you want blood was one of my first albums bought.
