Or any pub for that matter, we’ve been booked into restaurants and pubs and if we see them like that at the back exit we don’t go in, we just look for somewhere else.Nothing says "Welcome to McDonalds, please, come in and eat" like seeing all the staff on their brakes stood outside together smoking and hacking up.
Me and the lad spent few helping clear up after the floods. Hell of a mess left behind. Maybe I am lucky where I live but community spirit alive and well with a good few helping. No questions asked, just sleeves rolled up and cracked on. Makes you proud really of people - easy to think people cant be arsed anymore, but some can. I still think if you show a bit of commitment yourself others join in.
Floods have caused a load of damage. Nowt you can do really and not the first time we have had it bad. Second time in 5 years I have helped the football club after flooding. Someone showed me 4 young fellas next village along had put something on social media saying they had a van, one was electrician and one a builder, anybody need any help after the flood just ring and they would be there. Canny that.
Good stuff mate. We do the same here on our road. One bloke though got a range rover and never helped last timefew years ago after a heavy snow fall the road and the paths iced up, i went out and cleared my paths then moved onto the street path, by then a couple of neighbours had started their paths...i kept going and started clearing the road, got some strange looks at first but then others followed, we had a nice clear road outside (even for those who hid inside during the work), next snow fall we were out as soon as we could and just worked together, people along the street took our lead, unfortunately there were too many that sat watching and hoping we would clear their 'patch' as well.
for a while it was good community spirit with those unable to join in (elderly/disabled) keeping the coffee and tea going or at the very least gave a wave and mouthed a 'thank you'.

.The MD in grangetown they are right in view of the carpark. If you can get parked what with all the rude just eat drivers etcOr any pub for that matter, we’ve been booked into restaurants and pubs and if we see them like that at the back exit we don’t go in, we just look for somewhere else.
Last time it was necessary to clear our street about 6 of us did it. One bloke took the trouble to open his door and tell us “ we were going a grand job”. Another arrived back in his car and eventually managed to get it to his door ( we hadn’t reached the top of the street at that point), and sat in the car for about 20 minutes watching us . Literally 10 minutes after completion , these two were the first to drive off on the nicely cleared road. Selfish gits, could have at least provided teafew years ago after a heavy snow fall the road and the paths iced up, i went out and cleared my paths then moved onto the street path, by then a couple of neighbours had started their paths...i kept going and started clearing the road, got some strange looks at first but then others followed, we had a nice clear road outside (even for those who hid inside during the work), next snow fall we were out as soon as we could and just worked together, people along the street took our lead, unfortunately there were too many that sat watching and hoping we would clear their 'patch' as well.

Those just eat people must be the dirtiest scruffiest people in the food industry. The MD in grangetown they are right in view of the carpark. If you can get parked what with all the rude just eat drivers etc
Aye, the damage left behind after flooding is horrendous. Hard to imagine the chaos unless you see it first hand. Like I said earlier we see a fair bit of it round our way (i am lucky as we live on top of a valley but a mile away is wrecked). Been raining again all morning, just hope it stops soon for the poor buggers directly impacted.Great craic about the snow storm's but pretty irrelevant when the water comes. Prayers for all those who's homes are blighted by the floods
When we surrendered our own identity and applied to become the 51st state.Miserable ****er Alert
When did dressing your house up for Halloween on the 1st October become a thing?

Some **** on our estate puts her tree up 1st November. Absolute clownWhen some decided to be idiots like the Americans in an attempt to ruin the event, that should be for a couple of days so kids won't get sick of it by the time that Halloween comes, for the bairns . . . . much like Christmas has been ruined 'cos of idiots displaying decorations for fecking months![]()
