I had a wild bees nest under my front path once. Bees to-ing and fro-ing across the path all day. Most visitors were nervous but the bees ignored everyone and just went about their own business. A bee-keeper told me that at the end of summer they would all die and sure enough they all disappeared.
We have bees nests and wasp nests in the garden, bees never a problem wasps never a problem until one gets out of bed the wrong side and sting’s me, then I have no wasps nests in the garden. You can buy single bee nests in the garden centres or on line now Sandy, I just made my own and they were in in no time.

None unfortunately they all have some sort of agenda, even Sky Sports increasingly applies an agenda to their programmes.
I used to watch that if there was a current topic I didn't understand.
The main news channels think you automatically understood the basis of the subject and went straight into details ...

I’m off to a garden centre tomorrow and intend keeping an eye open for the nests. I wonder if I put one in the garage, will my bee take residence, and If so, could I then move it to the garden. Worth a try.
Many years ago we had a huge swarm arrive in our apple tree in Mansfield.
I rang someone to remove it and the cost was ridiculous so I put the lawn sprinkler under the swarm and ran inside.
They cleared off next door and my neighbour copped the bill ...

probably the second year in all the time i have lived here i do not have a hive somewhere in the garden, do not move once bees are settled in it as they will not look for it.
left a border to grow wild, hoping to add plenty of wild flowers to it plus add a butterfly bush or two.
Well went our done some shopping came back to the local had a pizza 3 pints

Why in 2022, a 24/7 364 world,do Doctors surgery's, Specialist that work in hospitals and chemists all live like it's the 1960s and operate a Monday to Friday 9x6 working week and close on bankholidays?
Why do Emergency Vets, that do it all for the love of the animal apparently,charge a pisstake fee of best part of 200 quid to get through the door when you're clearly out of options and feel OK to charge what they charge?

April 2021, I had to have my cocker put to sleep, cost £223.
February this year had to get my Border Collie put to sleep, cost £189.
Both were at the same vets, and both included a consultation fee, disposal, and the actual cost of euthanasia.
You would think the border collie would cost more....bigger dog, more injection stuff.
With being in farming most of my life I could by drugs at cost price with the company being so big, some 100ml bottles of penicillin were about £7, my friend got the vet to inject her horse about 20ml £84, that’s how vets are rich
Dunno mate. Probably because they can. Our society is becoming increasingly selfish and greedy.
A plumber instructor told me about when he moved into a posh-ish estate. He was next door to a vet. The first winter there the vet knocks on his door on a freezing night and pleads for help because his heating has packed up. The plumber puts a coat over his pyjamas and goes next door. He spends half an hour crawling around an arctic loft and gets the heating working. The vet asks how much does he owe and the plumber shrugs. Because they are neighbours it’s on the house. About 6 months later the plumbers old dog has a fit and is yelping and obviously in pain so he goes round to the vet and asks him if could put the dog to sleep. The vet obliges, commiserates and goes back home. 2 days later, the plumber finds a bill for veterinary services pushed through his letter box!
After that he charged full whack for everything he did - even for friends.
