Yes, yes, followed by the "T" word, but how long since the club's used our name to advertise a match?

It's obviously an attempt to placate the fans, while Ehab thinks he's still cleverly using his beloved Hull City Tigers.

Still, it's an improvement.
Yes I think that's where I am too. It's an obvious compromise and has a sting in the tail, but it is a concession from the Allam machine that all too rarely gives concessions.

I wonder what has precipitated this? Is it volunteered or has it been mandated? Or is just an idea a lowly graphic designer has had, for which he or she will pay with his job? I guess we will never know.

Nah it clearly says Hull City Tigers.

If they were using the club's nicknames it would say

Hull City
The Tigers.

Burton Albion
The Brewers.

I refuse to be placated or conned.

I know I'm PLT and therefore always furious etc etc but how is this a good thing? It clearly says Hull City Tigers. This is exactly what we've been complaining about for years.
Because it says Hull City, whereas previously it didn't. Cup half full or cup half empty - or maybe more accurately, cup mostly empty or cup with puddle of stagnant water in it.

How come they can get it right on twitter , wrong on the website etc.

From a marketing point of view it's all over the place when we have such a simple and memorable name

It says Hull City Tigers, over two lines. In the same way they've done Burton Albion.
Indeed it does. Which is either better or worse than "The Tigers" or a stupid badge, which they've used previously. It's very far from perfect, but to some it might be a little better.

The Twitter name may be right but the one used in this image isn't. It's exactly the same as the objectionable one on the website.
