EDIT: After reading again I’m guessing Niger wasn’t the auto-correct I first thought.

It looks like Loftus-Cheek will replace Alli, who still hasn't trained and Rashford will play behind Kane, in place of Sterling.

All good, though I'd also like to see Rose in for Young.

Agreed, they are also the three changes I would like - at least two of them appear to be definitely happening.

Scotland 74 to 78 were a very good team, and they were very unlucky not to progress in 74. Souness and Dalglish in midfield were as good as anyone around in 78. Certainly better than Gerry Francis and Trevor Brooking.

Cubillas was great for Peru against the Jocks, not sure you can prepare to defend against players of that skill.

The 78 squad had some quality .
Arrogance and incompetence was there main undoing.
I was surprised after watching that program just how bad it was!.

They had some mediocre ones too like Rough and Kennedy, think the Iran game was their downfall.

Think the manager was a harmless buffoon and some of their fans got carried away.

Bottom line is the qualified two tournaments running when we didn't.
