Looks like hull are actually spending their premier league money... I wonder what we'll do with ours?

Whereas I admire the money Hull are spending (8m Livermore, 5.25m Huddlestone, 7m Long, 6.5m Jelavic, 8m Snodgrass) and the ambition they sow, I do wonder about some of the deals. these last two for Livermore and Snodgrass look a touch on the high side. If that is the market gauge this summer - we're ****ed!!

Snodgrass is **** isn't he? Attitude seems suspect and he looks like a Scottish alki. 8 million? **** that.
I think snodgrass is worth it. He did very well in that **** norwich side. Livermore i really can't believe they paid 8 million for. You could've had any english cm in the championship for that price.
It does make you wonder though, is it better to spend money on **** players? or not spend at all?

I think we'll be able to answer that question next May.

Got to be **** players..I mean, if you had a good dressing room and management you could possibly get them playing beyond their means at least..or it could obviously go right the other way. My whole perspective is skewed at the moment by the fact we are so barebones and aye this **** is worrying af. I expect debuchy to go as well.

Even before we sell Tav and Abeid, we are leaving ourselves some serious work to do or taking an almighty gamble on next season.

Strangely I'm not really worried. I think I have become almost impervious to the goings on.

Its evident that fat mike will ensure this summer we do what it takes to leave us screwed come what August and a season which will end with us in the pop league.

Three weeks till the World Cup which was the clubs aim to have all the players signed and sealed before.

So what has happened so far the first and biggest mistake is keeping the most inept manager we have had that will be the main factor of our demise.

Gomis - wages to high so a no go surely the wage situation would have been highlighted ages before ?

Cabella - no real effort or desire to nail our number one target, no effort to pay the going rate for the lad which in turn will see us miss out.

Youth . The young lad from Tenerife
Has to happen as we always buy players for the future ( then see them being loaned out then realised)

I know its early but with the pricks who run this club you know the outcome.

I am sure some of the players who gave us a shed of hope last year will be gone like debuccy

RIP newcastle united

Just returned from Ibiza hence no postings so thought I would give my view on the signings to date
It's been fairly refreshing in all honesty and finally we sell a top player with MD but do what most clubs do by replacing him.

Cabrella,de jong WOW credit were its due they are some signings however we are still paper thin like we were before cayabe was sold we can't afford for any players to leave and I also think that we will struggle to score goals unless we buy a top forward (I am happy with rivière/Perez as back up but we need proven quality.

12 months ago we were desperate for a cb which never materialised so why are we still waiting its obvious we are dog awful at the back.

So on a whole I think we need a CB/decent CF and a back up midfield and even I could be positive that we will miss the drop and when pardew goes we could do very well

The season is nearly upon and my concerns have been confirmed granted we have brought in some decent signings but we Again failed to bring in a Ba replacement this after 18 months and still no quality CB brought in and that waste of space pardew still has a job

A long season ahead of us sadly

When we are still relying on the likes of mike Williamson Steven taylor at the back then Houston we have a problem

So Riviere who has scored 3 times already in pre-season isn't good enough for you?

I understand some people saying that we could do with someone more proven, but for me, Riv has shown enough so far in his running and strength and finishing to shw that he will be a force to be reckoned with in the Prem
