£80m more every year over the last 5 years. If you don't think that makes a difference take away their biggest signing every season.sounds like an excuse to me
I don’t think they have much more money than us

I've never said that. What's embarrassing is thinking that being able to sign an additional £80m player every year makes no difference. Please don’t pretend we are paupers
it’s embarrassing
You're talking about them rebuilding intelligently, though.only this season they have been worse
They are re building…our recent performances against Southampton and Bournemouth have been humiliating at least theirs was against Madrid and City. They were mentality monsters when it counted and bagged the lot. VVDwas never the same after his injury but being the colossus that he was…he deserved the chance to try and find his feet again.
They are re building…it seems as though they have started upfront…where have we started? Nowhere…haphazard as usual.
Nunez has just arrived but arrive he did as did Gapko. That young lad from Fulham is replacing Firmino.
we can nit pick but ultimately you can see a rebuild
can’t see **** all at Spurs…just a throw enough **** and some might stick attitude but no structure.
We’ve purchased Richarlison to cover for Kane, Son , Kulusevski and probably the ****ing ice cream van man outside the stadium.

They've had a net spend of £171m this season and over £100m last season. This is about re builds more than the money aspect…hence why I didn’t churn out a load of prices and costs
In one season Newcastle have moved above us and are blatantly having a rebuild at modest prices. How much more money have we made over them in recent years?
You're talking about them rebuilding intelligently, though.
If they'd have done that then they'd still be challenging for the title.
They're not. They're losing to **** teams and sitting in 8th.
They finished above us once from 2009 to 2018.
Klopp's done a great job of raising their level back to winning the title.
They've absolutely gone off a cliff since that, though.
We've become a defensive, unstable shambles. They should be miles ahead of us.
They've had a net spend of £171m this season and over £100m last season.
Those aren't modest prices. They spent £25m on Chris Wood and binned him off to Forest.
Lots. And they have done better than us this season. As have Arsenal. But by your favourite measure, trophies, it's likely both will do the same as us. I look at the medium term and at league position not trophies. The only club who are significantly better than us on that measure are Man City. This is about re builds more than the money aspect…hence why I didn’t churn out a load of prices and costs

Klopp didn't start talking up other jobs and saying he might leave if they beat us.I believe they are in the midst of the process…the bit which requires patience from the fanbase. I’m up for that stage at Spurs too…but I need to know it’s part of the strategy and not just us trickling along.
They haven’t gone full Levy and sacked the manager so that it looks like it’s all his fault
And I'm not trying to. We're not financially kings though, either. You’re not going to convince me that we are paupers
The disgusting treatment handed out to Sanchez from our alleged fans on social media and in the stadium recently has been totally unnecessary and counter productive. If they continue on that path, also to Porro recently , it will do nothing to improve things. People mention Porro’s mistakes in defence (not always his fault)but do not mention Kane’s failure to score from some of his excellent crosses, We could have home and dry in a few recent games , but Porro becomes the one to blame. It is just wrongI think they've both had their confidence destroyed by being on the bench all the time. Sanchez played ok when he had a run in the team but looks incredibly nervous when he makes a one off appearance. Nothing much we can do about that other than sell him.
Yep. The club's motto is Audere est Facere but any defender who takes a risk which leads to a goal conceded gets pilloried. The reason Sanchez is our fifth choice centre back is because he is worse than the others. It's perfectly normal that he makes more mistakesThe disgusting treatment handed out to Sanchez from our alleged fans on social media and in the stadium recently has been totally unnecessary and counter productive. It is concerning that Porro only seems to play as we hope he will with Romero backing him upDefenders taking risks is just stupid though.
What Porro done on the weekend for instance was extremely dumb and naive.

Put Sanchez or Tanganga behind him, he turns into Paul Stalteri
We’ve been crying out for a CB…some including myself had mentioned Dunk in the past,
Since your claim that Liverpool are doing better than us is wrong then the rest of your argument falls. So you've wasted your own time and everyone else'sMy initial post didn’t mention any figures because that wasn’t the point
it was discussing the fact that there seems to be a solid structure in the 2 examples I used as oppose to us and one has outwitted us and the other seems likely to in the near future.
I used Liverpool because they were on a par with us in 2015…however after that they left us behind on the pitch
I used Newcastle as my 2nd example…a team fighting relegation year in year out…yet they sit above us and it seems clear that they also have a solid plan
They’ve both spent money but they’re no City or Chelsea and none of us expect us to spend money of that sort.
This is about leadership and structure
It’s ok picking out the odd dud, like we all sign, to prove a point but the point is irrelevant.
We’ve been crying out for a CB…some including myself had mentioned Dunk in the past, we were also linked with Botman. A structure supported from the top allowed Howe to strengthen key areas with who he wanted and they didn’t cost the Earth. Levy thinks he’s smart..get the big manager…but he couldn’t back big manager with big signings…not enough for the job ahead.
It’s all because there is no structure and the man at the top has no idea of creating one.
That was the point of my initial post but the blind followers started to feel sorry for us and painting a picture of poverty
what a waste of time
