I believe the freehold of the stadium would be free.
West Park is totally restricted and although the freehold is available, no building can be done on it.
The car park (fairground) is the sticking point and this is the area what would not be free, without it developing the Stadium area loses its attraction.
The triangle has some issues and the development of it would be expensive. So whilst the freehold may be given away, the infrastructure and environmental costs are huge.

****ing fairground... what a total waste of good land and opportunity

The fact that transfer fees are spread across two or three years isn’t news, it doesn’t affect the overall numbers, he was just trying to muddy the waters.

Same with debt level, where he said we could check it in the accounts, accounts that he’s obviously well aware are almost a year out of date already.

He’s just full of ****, blaming fans for the club not selling, claiming he wants fan unity, while refusing to address fan issues, he’s a slimy bullshitting ****er.
It doesn' t matter to me how far he goes ( if any) as long as he is here I will not spend a penny at the club.
He can reinstate the badge, proper name, concessions etc I just ain' interested while they own the club.

He was obviously never promised the freehold, he just assumed he’d be given it if he built his sport village and even if he were to be given it, it would have been conditional on the sport village going ahead.

He had a meeting with Brady on 24 May 2011 at Allam Marine. After that meeting he was under the impression he'd get the freehold. He had a meeting with supporters' representatives later, which you attended, and said Brady went back on his word on transferring the freehold because he needed Geraghty's vote. This explains everything that subsequently happened regarding the name change and his hatred of the Labour Councillors. It's so obvious, even to someone as stupid as me.

He may have been under that impression but Brady is too canny a politician to actually have promised it whatever he thought he heard

I’ve had two meetings with Brady and he said he didn’t indicate anything of the sort, he said it was impossible to take that from the discussion that they’d had.

If he did promise it or hint at it, why would he admit it to you or anyone else after it all went bad? He would just be hanging himself

If it happened at all it would be in the minutes of the meeting backed up in writing at a later date

Allam is a liar. As we all know.

Can't argue with you on that, my point still stands though.... Even in the smallest chance of the allams side being the truth, why would Brady admit it to just anyone

As small of a chance, there's still a possibility he did say it. Neither you or I will ever know for sure.......you never know, he may of lied to you also

Mr Brady had no need to lie, unless of course you actually believe he was in a position to give away a £44 million public asset all on his own.
