And that's just the members of this forumMy list is longer than 10![]()

I heard more than 5 players depending on sales.
Still hearing 2 or 3 big signings (this includes Djenepo, like I said few days ago, then the press said it done) before we sell loads. Saints don't want to miss out on our main targets.
Maehle is still a target, but obviously Cedric has to go.
The squad is getting a huge overhaul with a few youngsters being called up to the main squad.
We are after at least 1 cb so chill.![]()
I have no idea if he is a big signing, I just knew we were talking to him. If I had to guess it would be Djenepo and Adams that are deemed 'big'.Thanks for the update Beef.
I still don't class goiginger a 'big' signing though.

Yes I wonder what is considered a “big” signing ? Over a certain amount ? A potential starter for the team ?
Not expecting an answer to that by the way!
So the plan/hope sounds like it is:
Maehle
New CB
Lookman
Djenpo
Adams
I can’t envisage what else would be filled after that. A goalie if both Fraser and McCarthy are shifted (although the former seems unlikely)
A dynamic defensive central midfielder ? A more pacey Romeu as I think Romeu will struggle as one of the two. But such a player is probably hard to come by
Interesting times (and not in the Chinese proverb way!)
I’ve been following this thread for a while and never posted. I spoke with a member of the Saints staff this week and tried to get some transfer info out of him. He said the plan was 10 out and 5 in. The club are in talks with Che Adams. The Djenepo guy is pretty much done. 1 goalkeeper has to go. Nothing new really but thought you might be interested. He said the atmosphere at the club is much better and there is a positive vibe about the place. for next season!
Edited for you.![]()
Can we all stop quoting this post, so that people like me don't go back and like it, just to annoy you furtherCan we all stop liking this? Great post, but his likes/post ratio is far too high atm
Seriously though, great post FOTC, keep us informed if you hear any more![]()

Who is Goiginger ? I know he is Austrian but he doesn’t seem to have much of a profile
What type of player is he? If he is an attacker I assume he must be fast?
Whose place in the squad does he potentially take? Armstrong ?
So is the plan seemingly to add Djenpo, Adams and Goiginger to our options for the front 4 positions. Added to Ings, Redmond, Obafemi, Ward Prowse and perhaps Long?
Which seems the plan to try and offload Moi, Boufal, Carrillo , Austin, Gallagher and Sims (latter probably on loan plus any others with no permanent buyers) ?
Just trying to piece together what the planned squad will look like
I agree....Sims must have impressed Ralph as he suits him down to the ground. Well worth keeping him and seeing how far he can go. Not as if we have to pay for him...he's here already.I'd be surprised if we were looking to offload Sims.
Don't think we will do a big signing in the sense that top clubs would recognise. I'll settle for the right signings. Thanks for the update Beef.

If it's a choice between him and Mo El there is no contest IMO, Sims produced far more in his short time on the pitch.I agree....Sims must have impressed Ralph as he suits him down to the ground.
