You have nailed it completely here mate. replying to a post on a forum, some times people have time to add context and their thought processes behind it and sometimes they don't. I enjoy some good hearted debated and try to take in opposite opinions to my own and occasionally have slowly changed my own thoughts on a matter due to it.

However there was a wwe wrestler back in the day called Rowdy Roddy Piper - His catch phrase "Just when they think they have the answers, I change the questions" - and this title, avi and catch phrase should be awarded to Roy. :emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl:
Ha ha very true. All of it not just the last part.

To back up my thoughts on why I want the owners to start actions is this…..

Yes I appreciate that. Ok my world which is business orientated I have to react and sometimes get the best of what is out there at that time. Not always getting the best candidate but…..

It means I have one (a person in situ) which is still much better than none at all. I would much rather a hard working average specialist doing work for me than me trying to fudge it and ultimately getting it wrong.

Because I would get it wrong because I’m not a specialist in that area.

Who knows what strings or constraints are in place.

Maybe AS and MG have to run everything past PIF.

Which moving forward for any structure of management team will pose problems. They need to get on and do their jobs.

Yeah I can understand that. I think DOF though you need to be confident you have the right person. They will shape and guide your project. If it becomes apparent they are not right for the job then it can take longer to undo what they have done than to put the new person's plans in place. I think that is the position Everton find themselves in, and despite having had a massive cash investment they are now struggling.

Do any of us really know what’s going on at the club?

I would imagine after a decade and a half of neglect that the whole structure is an absolute mess.I’d also imagine at the moment one of their biggest jobs is to make commercial deals a priority so it will give them the spending power needed to overhaul the playing staff, that’s just me theorising.

That’s a good point one of which I have not brought up. We also need a commercial director.

Yeah, let me summarise.

New owners walk into offices for the first time to be greeted by several admin workers hoovering the carpets. Where's the cleaners? They asked
What cleaners? Was the response.
You mean there is no cleaners here? They asked
Sports Direct send cleaners to the final game of the season as a bonus but they are asked to clean the offices for said tickets was the response.

Realisation of the task in hand dawned on new owners.

They still have not appointed any cleaners mate. :1980_boogie_down:

Your area of expertise. If so your hired. I’m group accountant and head of operations.

Seriously mate, that job role is the easiest ****ing commercial role in the North East of England. It would be impossible for me to discuss on detail on here just how ****ing simple yet rewarding for the club that role could be.

Let me ask you a simple question. What is your favourite colour?
Blue
But you haven't answered my question, I asked you what your favourite shape was but you refuse to yield.......

Can just imagine Roy in that role....

When asked for a response to the plight of non-league clubs going insolvent a Newcastle United spokesman responded.....

**** you small fry!! We've got billions and billions!!!

When asked for a response to the plight of non-league clubs going insolvent a Newcastle United spokesman responded..... by raising his eyebrows in a trump like fashion adding "**** you small fry!! we have billions and billions!!!!! They should never have bullied their previous manager that (make up number% here) never wanted in the first place, It's their own fault"

He then strutted out the office looking like he had hemorrhoids in a vince mcmahon fashion.
