I see Syd is demonstrating his usual lack of comprehension skills and then going round in circles without getting anywhere.
You devaluing his hat-trick against a 'pub team', PLT posted misleading stats about scoring rates, Bob and OLM have been equally, let's say unimpressed, with his hat-trick. None of that is complimentary.
Calling the opposition a pub team is an accurate, well researched contextualisation of the achievement? Give it a rest Syd, don't you have a baby to feed or something?
You called me and others out so I responded to defend my position. If you have an issue with people doing that, don't comment on people's opinions. No one slagged him off. Move on. For what its worth, it's amusing people have moved on from the 'other side of the world' guff to the 'baby feeding' guff, but amazingly while waiting for a bottle to heat up one finds themselves with a few minutes to scroll their phone.
3,000. Absolutely massive they are. Not acting as if Oscar just scored a hattrick against Barcelona isn't the same as slagging him off. Great he's found his scoring boots as I said elsewhere, it means they're likely to buy him if he keeps it up. The hattrick doesn't mean we made a mistake shipping him off on its own though.
I literally didn’t say any of that stuff. I was kind of agreeing with you. Please reflect on that. This is how your arguments start.
You quoted their ground size to suggest they aren't a minnow (or that they literally aren't a pub team which of course they're not). The rest of my post was a broader comment, I'm well aware you didn't say that, Plum did.
That's not how it read, and given who liked your post I don't think I'm alone in reading it that way, but fair enough.

Not that it really means anything, but based on the last six games, city are currently averaging 1.7 points per game – ever so slightly higher than our season average. Our consistent season-long form would suggest we’ll finish with around 72 points. Norwich are currently averaging 2.2 per game - which is higher than Leeds’ points per game so far this season, suggesting they’ve over performed recently. With so few games left, either they’ll breeze into the last promotion place ahead of city, and maybe a few others, or they’re due some results to bring that average down after the international break.
Our final game of the season against Plymouth Argyle at Home Park on Saturday 4 May will now kick-off at 12:30pm.
i thought all the final games were due to kick off at the same time ie 3pm. So there is no advantage/disadvantage....Why the change? Or have they all changed? BBC still has it as a 3pm KO. They do this every year; announce them as 3pm Saturday games even though they can't possibly be if some are going to be televised, and then inevitably move them later on.
EFL reveal Championship play-off dates as Hull City continue their promotion push The EFL have confirmed the final round of Championship fixtures will take place at 12:30pm on Saturday, May 4 with Hull City set to face struggling Plymouth Argyle on the South Coast. The visit to Home Park will bring the curtain down on City's regular season but they'll hope to have it extended by three more games should Liam Rosenior's side make it into the play-offs. City, who are almost certainly fighting with at least five other clubs for what increasingly looks like just one place inside the top six, would face a home leg on Sunday, May 12 at 12:30pm against the side which finishes third in the Championship. That could yet be any one of Leeds, Leicester, Ipswich or Southampton with West Brom appearing to have an iron grip on fifth place. The second leg of the play-off semi-final would kick-off at 8pm on Thursday, May 16 with the other semi-final - 4th vs 5th - taking place the following day. As it stands, Norwich occupy the final play-off berth after their comfortable 3-0 win at Stoke City last weekend with City enjoying a free weekend owing to Coventry's involvement in the FA Cup quarter-final. Rosenior's men are three points adrift of the Canaries but do have a game in hand, though in the last two outings, Norwich have put themselves eight goals ahead of the Tigers who return to action on Good Friday when they host the Potters in front of a sold-out MKM Stadium crowd. Along with Norwich and City, Coventry, Preston, Cardiff and Middlesbrough still have hopes they'll be able to clinch that final spot in the final weeks of the season. Semi-final first legs Sunday, May 12, 2024 - 12:30pm - Championship A (6th v 3rd) Monday, May 13, 2024 - 20:00 - Championship B (5th v 4th) Semi-final second legs Thursday, May 16. 2024 - 20:00 - Championship A (3rd v 6th) Friday, May 17, 2024 - 20:00 - Championship B (4th v 5th) The final Sunday, May 26, 2024 at Wembley Stadium
