Don't know much about the nags but I do know that Pellegrino won't start with two Strikers against Newcastle!*...

I dont believe it will as the Premiership would still be a big draw with most of the clubs fans out numbering any breakaway league fans.Trouble is, the vast majority of the TV money would go with them, so the problem of getting more money into grass roots football remains.

But those aren’t the fans the TV companies are interested in, they want the top 6 who have fans all over the world. With a super league being played at the weekend, the remaining PL teams would have the same kind of status TV-wise as the Championship does currently.I dont believe it will as the Premiership would still be a big draw with most of the clubs fans out numbering any breakaway league fans.
Something definitely needs to be done. I thought FFP was supposed to sort all this out, but it only appears to have made matters worse.
Leicester winning the league gave us all hope, but now the gulf between rich and poor lioks wider than ever - in football as in life.
On a personal level, I feel like walking away from PL football. I guess none of us find it easy to turn our backs on our clubs though, even when the clubs seem to turn their backs on us.
I knew that De Boer would fail because he was abysmal at Inter. My dear old Mum would get success as Ajax manager.
I can't remember a single poster wanting De Boer as Manager on here.
How much do you reckon Les Reed knew about Pellegrino, I mean there wasn't much to go on was there?
Don't Believe it The premiership draws more fans from all over the world and not just to watch the big sides either as they will follow their own sides....Sky could never afford to ignore the premiership as it will be much more exciting to watch with the title up for grabs by anyone.....
Well exactly. If a wage cap of say, £50k per week were enforced, that would even things out a lot, and it would also help clubs like us to hang on to our best players for longer.I'd also add I don't really have an issue with the fact the top clubs outspend the smaller clubs, Chelsea/City is a bit different but the reason the likes of United and liverpool can spend more is because they've historically been more successful.
It's all of the money washing around the top level that sickens. The fact Saints are paying Fraser 80 odd k is just as ridiculous as anything else.

Depends whether they want to sit on the bench or not I suppose.Hmm, not convinced there.
If the money's the same then most would still prefer to play for Liverpool than Southampton.
I’d also like to point out that, to the best of my knowledge, I am not related to Dell1964

There is no way that if you took out the top 6 from the PL that the remaining teams would have as many fans as the ones leaving. I’d even bet that Utd have almost as many fans as the bottom 14 by themselves
