The beer looks livelier than you do.
I was knackered after all my flight drama the night before and getting to the wrong airport... Think that was only my 3rd drink.
That one certainly woke me up though

The beer looks livelier than you do.

I wanna know what I'm looking at there... can't remember if there was a hot waitress there or not?
@VVD

I think you were looking at my Spag Bol, and wondering why you ordered pizza![]()

Says the twat who asked for a beer and it turns up in a litre jugI didn't order a pizza, I had a lasagne. It was Jaidi who ordered a pizza.
Oh how you and I laughed at him.
Still remember that that beer cost the same as your Spag Bol and water put together
Cheers mate btw![]()

Of course I can’t, as you well know. You seem to think I’m on the side of the morons who boo and jeer, when nothing could be further from the truth. It’s the role of football fans to get behind their team whatever the circumstances, but what I am saying is that the players have to do their share as well, and more importantly, so do the club management. All we have heard from Ralph in the last 6 months is a complacent, business jargon-riddled load of guff about how we are a small club, using the sort of language usually dished out to a workforce before redundancies are announced. Here's a thought then - name any Saints match in the last decade (!) where they were booed and jeered; then went on to win that match.
When things ain't great, do you really think that the atmosphere created at St. Marys generates an up & at 'em vibe in a player or team. Or do you think that that sort of atmosphere would tend to make players jittry , frightened to make a mistake or shrink into their shells.
Somebody posted previously about the great support that Palace got during their abysmal start to the season. Others on here have recounted tales of the spirit & backing given at the Dell. That got Saints out of many relegation scrapes.
So, over to you, name that game.......
I never paid any attention to all that - I suspect that those of us who were sceptical about those claims in the first place are a bit more sanguine about our current position than those who genuinely believed we were on course to become the English Atletico Madrid.
Mind you, while I didn't expect Champions League in 5 years, I didn't expect a relegation battle this season either. If we survive it, it might pull us all down to earth a bit I suppose.
In truth over the years I’ve heard similar coming from the board. Sadly they have nearly always expressed a desire feigning ambition. They have had some really decent managers that just got frustrated because of the feigned ambition and lack of real backing.

...didn't Leicester have a relegation battle the year before they won the league? And the man who kept them up got the sack?
Just saying

I don't see any reason why we can't win the league next season.
Whichever league we're in![]()
You seem to be the board’s spokesperson on here at the moment so tell us this: is there actually a plan at all to get the team out of the relegation zone, other than blaming everything on a minority of disaffected fans?
Naturally, there's a plan beyond blaming the fans. It's important to also remember to blame the lino from a game that occurred over a year ago, and to blame the poisonous atmosphere brought on by a player we sold despite no uptick in league results since. Taken together, it's a comprehensive strategy to lead the team forward by deflecting any criticism away from the club's decision-makers.
We're too good to go down though, so keep doing what we're doing and we'll probably finish 12th.
Don’t forget we’re something like 7th in the PL for creating chances, that’s got to count for a few bonus points too!Absolutely. As long as we remain unbeaten in the matches we don't lose, and convince the PL to award points based on average possession, we ought to be there or thereabouts for the European places.
