Good to have you back Al, if this is right you are ahead of the official site and WO. Still the news coming out of the club has been almost deafening in it's silence.

Affleck is saying that the deal to take over the club is very complex, but something needs to happen soon for the good of it.

I have been quiet OFH but I have been keeping my beady eye on the rumour sites and I saw this weeks ago, rumours about Big Chris and Bournemouth, but thought nothing of it. Now this though<yikes> he may have had his knockers last seaon including me but he had some great games for us in the run in and I would be sad to see him go!

Strange. If Chris Iwelumo has become fit, has entered the team, has started scoring goals and is winning the fans that he would go to Bournemouth who are one league lower and have bought Lewis Grabban from Rotherham United who scored 18 goals in 43 games ,so says the BBC. Who is young compared to CI, can this team offer more money? They finished 11. in their league also.

Is no news good news? When are we going to get this 'takeover' sorted so we can start making some deal?

Dyche strikes me as a bit of a craftier Del Boy in the transfer market, I bet he is champing at the bit to get whealer dealing !!!

Quarterly Interest Payment Date means the 10 day of March, June, September and December
commencing on 10 June 2012 and through to and including the Final Redemption Date.

The above is one of the terms of the takeover that Baz agreed to. Interest was set at 5% of the outstanding monies due, so although he claimed in the WO that he had made the bond repayment on the 13th March he still has to pay out a fair amount in addition. There has been some speculation about him paying the bonds, so how has he defaulted? Could he be defaulting on these quarterly payments?

Just trying to make some sense of it all. I have read a e-mail tonight from someone who confirms from a different source to KA that something is happening, but that it is difficult to understand.

I have to agree that whatever is going on it needs to be sorted for the good of the club. While this is in the air nothing can be planned for next season and players coming or going will feel uncertain about their future.

This is what The Times say:
Watford and Millwall are vying to sign Paul Dixon, the Dundee United left back, who is out of contract this month. The former Scotland Under-21 defender has made more than 120 league appearances for the club, since his cross-city move from Dundee to United four years ago. Dixon, 25, was picked for the Scotland squad for the friendly against Czech Republic in 2010, but has yet to be capped.

Southampton will enter the bidding war for Watford center back Adrian Marriappa, Reading have had 2 bids rejected and are considering whether they wish to make a third. Saints offer is thought to be around £3m with Lee Barnard and James Ward-Prowse joining Watford on season long loans.

It would personally p*** me off if Southampton get AM, but under the circumstances £3m to a newly promoted side would be a good deal for player and club.

@mrtony2009 Not enough characters to explain complex nature of wrangling but things have to come to head soon. What a mess
