Can't remember Wigan fans doing this to be honest.

(Blackpool fans seem to do it though. Didn't they even get a final day match, possibly against Huddersfield, abandoned? As I recall, that was a fine and a suspended sentence re. a behind closed doors match.)

The pitch invasion against City was much more people and also a lot nastier in terms of action too.

You're right about Blackpool doing it against Huddersfield but i think remember the punishment so will take your word for it.

I'm sure the owners probably want out. Who wants to get that abuse all the time? It is just a question of whether or not they can find a buyer who matches the valuation/ Just like Ashley at Newcastle, he has wanted out for ages I reckon just nobody willing to pay enough.

As part of the os deal didn't they have a time limit imposed before they could sell up if they wanted to keep 100 percent ofit?

Playing devils advocate maybe the stadium operators should face punishment? West Ham have no control over stewarding etc. Which was appalling by the looks of it.

Didn't realise realise it was that long actually, though I think they can sell if they want but only if they're willing to give up a percentage... so probably amounts to the same thing really.

Wigan and WHU have gotten the same punishment. Great to see the FA being consistant in these matters...Both clubs now have to face the mighty Saints in the next match of their respective competitions....Really is a deterrent for any fan looking to cause mischief
