Only thing I would say, he has come out and immediately fronted up on this - was given a (rightly) hard time on Sky News etc, and spoke well. He’s genuinely contrite, but it was a disgraceful thing to do. Both he and the driver deserve punishment.

The driver has been spoken to, by the police, for using his phone whilst driving, but let off with a caution, which I find bizarre.
What Carragher did was abhorrent, but it wasn’t life threatening, although you could make a case that he wasn’t concentrating fully on his driving.
Using a hand held phone whilst driving is against the law and is known to be life threatening, even more so if using it to make a video rather than receiving or making a phone call.
Both should be punished.
The driver should be penalised in accordance with current driving laws and Carragher should be suspended until the end of the season, as a minimum. IMO.

Can't see Carragher being sacked, Sky love his banter with Neville too much for it to happen. It has actually happened at a pretty convenient time as he wouldn't be back on TV anyway until the 31st of March for the Liverpool v Palace game, so a 3 week break for this to blow over.

His action was very unpleasant, but I do get fed up with the 'hang 'em high' and 'holier than thou' philosophy of many these days. No one is perfect....a suspension probably fits the bill.
Agree. There's also a really weird culture (not just within football) that it's okay to behave in a manner that you wouldn't towards an ordinary member of society, towards someone who is a public figure or for want of a better word, a 'celebrity'.

They're people too and they aren't perfect either. Missing the rest of the season and then returning seems fine.

Absolutely. Couldn't agree more with both of you.

Carra to avoid police action, however the man he spat at will attend a driver awareness course for his use of his phone whilst driving.
