I agree in general but I'm talking final ten minutes if we're two or three down, it's not gonna negatively impact the result but it might just achieve something to positively impact the rest of our season.
Bloody hell Liverpool.
What a **** weekend.

If people want to protest then that is their right, I guess.
However, I can't see what they can possibly hope to achieve doing it while the team are on the pitch. This squad of players is still trying, that much is evident. They are playing without confidence, and they might not be good enough. The fans (football geniuses to a man) are convinced the manager isn't good enough, and they're probably right - this time. However, holding up banners, booing, negative chanting etc, won't help the team play better. Supporting them just might.
If people are determined to protest, why can't they wait until after the final whistle, then stage a sit in at the ground? That would of course be tricky if they are same people who are just getting on the M3 when the final whistle blows.
I agree. I’d actually be quite impressed if there was a protest outside reception of St Mary’s for 2 hours after the game. Keep Les pinned in the ground; make him get the police to clear the fans or have to leave the stadium with them outside so he feels their wrath. Boo or stop backing the team during the game just will put more nails in our relegation coffin. The fans need to think about that. Their actions could effect the players mentality for the next games, not just that one game.
Sadly, I don’t expect them to realise that.
That might happen if protests against the board start.
It's not really a manager protest though.
I just think we need to have the players knowing the fans are behind them. We can’t afford them to come timid in our next home games. You know how some fans are at football, they lose their **** and they’d end up having a barney with the players - like the other week.
Protest against the manager outside reception.
Oh I agree but the fans are barely behind them anyway, at home at least.
Like I say if we're getting tonked then ten minutes of 'pellegrino out' chants aren't going to negatively impact the result, especially if they stick with them for the previous 80.
I take your point about the next game, but if it forces the boards hand then it could be a huge positive impact for the run in.
I see both sides tbh and there's probably no real 'right' answer so to speak.
Sky's gonna be unbearable this week
****ing hell 4-1 now.
4-2.
They won't but imagine if they threw it away now...
Hold that thought. If anyone can, City can...
