Mourinho is a classic siege mentality manager. You're in his gang or you're not. If you're not, you're out.
In fairness to him, it was a really quite strange signing though. An ego signing. He was never going to play more than about 10 games a season for them. If he had anything left in the tank, Bayern would have kept him.
If anyone goes to the West Ham game either take your own picnic and eat it in the Olympic Park itself, or eat in the Westfield centre where there are numerous bars - Mexican, Italian, Greek, Brazilian plus more "Chavvy" type bars where the boisterous West Ham males congregated. When I went with my friend, we avoided those and went to the "Great Greek," which is good to do with some friends as you can buy a range of different dishes and share them. The prices that you saw for fish and chips were on vendors vans outside the stadium. I suspect the rent they pay to the stadium authorities is , considerably more than their counterparts outside St Mary's.
Talking of high rents, when vendors go with the wares, be it food, clothing, arty type things and so on to a festival like Glastonbury or Reading, they pay a lot of rent, but as their sales are so high it can provide the said vendor with so much income that he or she does not need to work until say November again.
Like his younger brother or something. The guy has lost so much muscle, he looks a totally different person. Even his face shape is different.
Alessio Romagnoli: AC Milan reject Chelsea bid and say player is not for sale!! Hope Milan stick to their guns!!! I have a liking for this club, ever since they beat Manchester United back in 1969 on the way to winning the European Cup. What a team they had but alas, they fell from grace very quickly amid controversy and corruption to slip into Serie B for a short while. And again it was good to see that club destroy United twice more in the history of matches between the two clubs. Sadly, the boot is on the other foot nowadays.
Me??? Never!!!! In my youth this club were the bees knees along with Inter, Benfica and Real Madrid. Of course there was a mystique about them as TV coverage was restricted to recorded highlights of the big European nights. As I have never been fond of Manchester United, I enjoyed hearing and reading about Milan taking them apart.
What good would that do? They must make a fortune even if it costs a lot to sell there. The official saints food is bad enough but I'm sure they've had many complaints.
If the food from the vendors is outside the stadium but on premises belonging to the club, then the club should not give them a licence to sell there. And if you wrote to the club about the quality of food within the confines of the stadium, then the club should do something about this. If enough people shared your view and you told them you were going to write to Jamie Oliver about the sub-standard fare on offer to fans inside football stadia, the club might just begin to pay attention to its customers needs. After all it worked for school dinners, why not food a sporting venues. Anyhow, take my tip, if you go the West Ham away, find a good bar that serves these wonderful Greek or Mexican tapas and enjoy a good glass of wine.
I'm pretty sure someone (maybe Beefy?) Said the burgers inside the ground have massively improved this year. Sourcing from a local butcher so it's actual meat rather than processed ****. I personally haven't eaten inside the ground for years cos it's overpriced and poor quality. Might change that this year though. On another not totally unrelated note the best 'burger van' burger I've ever head was outside the City Ground in Nottingham. Was 11 years ago mind.
You have a point. I'm sure that most people involved in the club, from the chairman through to all the supporters would do anything at all to keep Jamie Oliver the **** away.
