The FA have confirmed that Alan Pardew will face no action for his behaviour.
Too slow DTLW! Good decision I think. What are your feelings about it?
But a tirade of abuse aimed at the other manager in front of the cameras, I am less certain.
I'm not so sure. Wilshere got a two game ban for swearing on the pitch, using a gesture, did he not?
I can see both sides of it. You can't totally rule swearing out, it's kind of illogical. The occasional "oh F!" etc is going to happen in a high intensity environment.

Stoke City owner Peter Coates has hit out at "poor referees" and "shocking decisions".
Says he has made the comments as Mark Hughes cannot, for fear of punishment.
Says FA need to look into raising standards because they are unacceptable at current.
Yeah, he crossed the line for me. Should have been reprimanded at least.
Nobody pretends that Football players, manager, coaches etc. always behave appropriately, and that includes swearing. It goes on all the time, I'm sure. On the pitch, on the touchline, in the stands.
Jonas Gutierrez signs for Norwich City on loan until the end of the season.
Well, it shouldn't. What about this whole agenda of respect we keep hearing about?
Just because he was unlucky to be caught doesn't mean he shouldn't be slapped.
I don't think you can stamp it out. Most people don't see swearing as a huge problem in society, and except it is most frequently used, ' in the heat of the moment'. There is a very dangerous risk that charging someone for only using swear words, will open the 'floodgates' so to speak, and lower the bar with regards to FA charges. In a few years, you could be charging people for shouting on the touchline.
Well you won't stamp it out like this. I don't see swearing as a huge problem (or even a small problem, frankly) in society, but there's a difference between simply swearing, and calling someone else a ****ing old ****. You can bet that if a player said that to a referee, they wouldn't just be reminding him of his responsibilities.
Wasn't is rumoured a while back that Gutierrez wanted to return to Argentina to be nearer his family? Guess Norwich is a little closer, he'll get there in the end![]()
Please do tell me the difference.
