either he mistook danny fox for luke shaw or heforgot he was playing in the premier league last season.

i'm sure most people have forgotten he played in the premier league last season.

As far as I can tell Luke made his league debut in the premier league.

That would be difficult even after one match. :)

Did we play Reading in a cup competition when we were both in the Championship..? Shaw might have got one of his early 1st team matches then..? Total guess there.

No but they both played last season in the 1-0 home win. Maybe he is just getting very confused.

if jason made a surprise appearance for Millwall, yeah ;)

Butland's career trajectory has been so strange, didn't Birmingham reject about £6m from us 18 months ago. I realise he's Stoke's second choice but where on earth did that England cap come from.

Was it that much, amazing. Didn't Carson Yeung(?) say that they were going to keep him to build their promotion challenge on. Then they signed a few frees and finished 12th.

With Newcastle's offside goal, the MotD pundits say the guy had no effect on Joe Hart. I'm not so sure. As a keeper your job is to keep the ball out of the goal. If the ball is heading straight towards a player right in front of you, its reasonable to expect him to head the ball in. If Hart dived to stop the Tiote shot then it would be a tap in for the 'offside' player.

if that player was not there, Hart would surely gave dived? Not saying he would have got there but for my money, the decision was right as his positioning affected Hart's decusion. Probably :-p

Slightly interesting. Are we all wanting Arsenal to win this evening, or do we wish Aston Villa well..? Arsenal win, they retain their distance from Saints and others and go top. If Villa win they once again reduce the gap to us to 4 points. Perhaps a draw..? Must say, I like draws when rivals are playing each other. Love the fact that they've wasted that point between them.

So a draw for me.

I consider neither our rivals, and I don't want chelsea or city to win the league, so I'm hoping for an arsenal win
