When was it written? His definition of Neo-Liberalism seems very out of date. I see he's also a fan of Globalisation - that term has been hijacked too.

Sorry Strolls but I can’t see how you can say that any definition of a political theory can become “out of date” ?
I’m assuming it was written at the times of Blair and New Labour

neo-liberal
  1. NOUN
    1. an advocate or supporter of free-market capitalism, deregulation, and reduction in government spending:
"neoliberals believe that business is often overregulated and welfare is underregulated
Jessop may well have been hurt by the fact that New Labour had abandoned Socialism, and many would agree, but that is not a valid description of Blair - or Starmer for that matter. It's just a misrepresentation employed by the far left as a pejorative.

I would suggest that his paper is very much correct in its writing and stand by my point.
Even Stan agrees

Surely you lot on here can find a middle ground ?
It seems that one side is “open all borders”, and the other is “send the buggers back”.

Can’t there be some kind of way the 2 sides can come together or is that a hopeless task ?
Leave them in France
Both sides win
Not in the UK and not in a war torn country anymore
