'Honest Bob' Jenrick now says that the 136,000 backlog in processing asylum claims is actually a good thing, because it acts as a deterrent to new claimants. The £2bn per annum we're spending on hotels is worth it then, eh Bob?

They seem to be applying the same logic to the NHS. If anything we’re not letting the waiting list go up fast enough.

Did any one see the programme last night about Simon Reeves trip around the Med ?
Interesting perspective of the reality of mass migration from Africa and how the sometimes “uncomfortable truth”, is that the vast majority of the people are not fleeing war or danger, but are in fact purely in search of a better life and more financial stability.
Can’t say I blame them, but it seemed to dispel the myth often espoused by the liberal left.

The Home Office are granting 76% of asylum claims - you'd better tell them that the 'vast majority' of the African ones are bogus.

Vote Conservative.

Amazing that the nastiest, far right, immigrant-hating government I've ever known can't sort it out really.

They're greedy (so far) ethic, liberal human rights lawyer-crooks and you say blame the Tories <laugh>

We've even had an ethic, crooked Labour councillor lawyer on video telling illegal immigrants she can fix their status for cash. It's shameful...

Lawyers represent their clients. I’m sure there are bad apples as with any profession but if you’ve genuinely fallen for the “leftie lawyer” line then you’re thicker than I thought.

Yes blame the ****ing Tories. They’re the reason there’s a huge backlog created entirely to get their rancid gammon base frothing and siphon our money to more of their donors. They could have sent these people on a cruise for the cost of housing them in an unsafe floating prison which they hadn’t bothered to wait to see if it was riddled with disease just to appease some ******s in the Home Counties. How much more is going to be wasted now on this vanity project?

I thought this might bring out the abuse in you. It does when you're on the defensive.

I know more about the law and lawyers than you will ever do, have come across many human rights lawyers and they were all, without exception, to use Stainsey's term, neo liberals.

Educated people often are, though it’s exceptionally unlikely you aren’t talking bollocks.

Nothing I said is untrue. It’s a vanity project to appease the same racist idiots who are now calling to leave the ECHR. The same morons who back the Rwanda plan. The same people constantly pandered to by this cesspit government to try and cling onto a few votes while the country rots.

Since when was ethic an adjective?
