Humza Yousaf says George Square disorder 'racist thuggery'
Disorder in Glasgow city centre has been condemned as "racist thuggery" by Scotland's justice secretary.
Six men were arrested by police as rival protest groups gathered in the city's George Square.
National Defence League supporters went to the square saying they wanted to "make and stand" and "protect the Cenotaph".
Shortly afterwards activists from No Evictions Glasgow arrived for their planned demonstration.

So, Norway and Ireland just got elected as 2 year temporary members to the U.N. Security Council from 2021. Norway got 130 votes, Ireland 128 and Canada 108.
Not bad for a small irrelevant country - as some on here would see us. Both beat Canada in the voting. Both are neutral countries and Ireland certainly has a strong record for defending human rights around the world and a strong record for advocating a two state solution to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. We have had troops stationed in Lebanon and other places in Africa on U.N. peace keeping duties for years now. Virtually the whole Arab world voted for us ahead of Canada who were seen to be very pro U.S. and pro Israel.
Just a little mention that small neutral countries can gain respect around the world.

Oxford was once a university with a great tradition of debating but now seems to have become a mirror of many other student union obsessed control-freaks. If ever anyone needed proof that the horseshoe theory is real, this is it. And recently, that extreme right wing fascist (not) JK Rowling dared to suggest that only women can menstruate. Cue all the insignificant little wokies working for her publisher refusing to work on her books anymore.
