Wow...that’s worrying.
How many people will they be moving out ? Hundreds ? Thousands ?
It’ll be like a ghost town

My point was simply all politicians lie, and lie repeatedly. Farage is a consummate liar and contrary to his 'blokey' appearance is surrounded by a cabal of thugs who are essentially his minders, not a pleasant bunch at all, I've seen them at first hand.
Corbyn is unreal, always made out to be a cuddly figure with his 'nicer politics', he is also happy to let his Momentum thugs do his dirty work for him. It's also amazing how poor his memory is when caught out, such as he was 'there but not involved'.
I'm not taking any sides as my contempt for our politicians is beyond repair...
Farage would be mad not to have a coterie of bodyguards. There are plenty of hotheads out there that want to do him physical harm. Lily Allen would give him a handbagging if she was sober.
Frank Field, one of the most respected MP's in the house, intimidated, unwilling to tolerate a menacing antisemitism and forced to leave the Labour Party. This is getting like the 1930's.

Looks a bit more promising alongside what Barnier has been saying. Will Mogg et al be happy being within a ‘concentric circle’ of Europe, with France and Germany at its heart? Frankly if we get a deal and it pisses him and his mates off, I’ll be delighted.Evening Standard reports:
"Emmanuel Macron is urging the European Union to agree to a close relationship with the UK after Brexit, according to reports.
The French president aims to use an EU summit next month in Salzburg, Austria, to push for a new "alliance" between the bloc and Britain, The Times reports.
A new Continental structure would see "concentric circles" with the EU and Euro at its core and the UK in a second ring, according to the newspaper."
At last, some sense from the EU (and from Macron, who until now, has been the most hard line of the EU leaders). Instead of alienating the UK with a no deal, they'll work to accommodate the UK within Europe but outside the Union and the Euro. Despite the UK's Remain "Help, we're going to fall off a cliff!" politicians, it never made sense that the EU member states would poke themselves in the eye with a sharp stick with a no deal which would damage their respective economies greatly.
Frank Field is a Thatcherite, he should have left Labour decades ago. Another man whose ‘principles’ have given him a 40 year career on taxpayers money, of which he has spent one whole year accepting responsibility as a minister, before finding it all too much and resigning to criticise others and be smug.Yep. Frank Field is a thoroughly good politician, but he simply couldn't stay in Corbyn's racist, bullying, Marxist party.

But Corbyn’s Labour is no place for anyone with a brain and a conscience.

If we get mutually beneficial trade with Europe, security cooperation etc, no payments in, border control and are free to make our own laws and trade with the rest of the world unfettered, then I don't see what the Moggster would complain about. We're in for an interesting 3 or 4 months
I hear Mogg wants a soapy tit **** off Juncker as a part of the deal. But to be fair he is also happy to be Matteo Salvini and Viktor Orban’s gimp as well.If we get mutually beneficial trade with Europe, security cooperation etc, no payments in, border control and are free to make our own laws and trade with the rest of the world unfettered, then I don't see what the Moggster would complain about. Agree on Labour.Prefer Field to most of the others.
Seems genuinely principaled.
Corbyn's Labour is looking very sinister indeed these days.
Found the ideal football club for you Stainsey, much closer to home than St Pauli. It’s 20 actually Goldie

Clapton Community Football Club (Walthamstow) formed this year, have an away kit (deliberately) in the purple, red and yellow colours of the International Brigades who fought Franco in the Spanish Civil War, with ‘No Pasaran’ (they shall not pass) embroidered on the collar and adorned with the three pointed star symbol of the Brigade. They expected to sell about 250 of the shirts (a reasonable £30) a year, but already have orders for 2600 from Spain, where somehow the news spread before the team has played a competitive game. The shirts are made in Italy by a small, ethical manufacturer which makes sure workers at all points of the supply chain are properly paid. Right on!

You may also like their Ultras - motto ‘sometimes anti social, always anti fascist’. The more I read about this mob the more I like them. It’s a proper open membership club, I’m very tempted to join.

As my Dad was born and brought up in Walthamstow before moving to West London in his teens, I feel I have a legitimate interest and will be following them closely.
