Very depressing programme on now about the spike in anti immigrant crime after the Brexit vote and how it hasn’t subsided to pre vote levels. In fact so depressing that I can’t watch it.
There are over 500,000 illegal immigrants in the U.K. and probably 1 million, according to the former head of the immigration service - the Home Office has declined to publish figures since 2001. He also says they are unlikely ever to be removed. More evidence of our own incompetence with dealing with our own borders. What difference will ‘taking back control’ make if we can’t act on what is in our control already?
Funny, and made me smile. Still a meaningless insult designed to appeal to those amongst her supporters who have a vote but no desire to use it wisely, though.

Yes of course, I stand corrected. The good news is that a 'soft' Brexit will be a much less serious economic disaster.
I listened to someone today who said the term 'deadlock' used by Barnier was not as bad as it sounds and the only people jumping on it would be the 'remoaners'. I also listened to some German bloke over the weekend who said it was essential for Britain to get a good deal otherwise it would be detrimental to Germany and other EU countries. Question is who do I listen to? ......
