I'm happy for him to be in the conversation of best Scottish Athlete of all time, and you make a decent case, but he would not get in the top 10 of British all time greatest sports people. Ronnie O'Sullivan and Phil Taylor ruin him and they are pub sport players.

Theyre impossible to compare. But he’s on the conversation for both. I don’t really see why we need to rank and do down on some of our very best.

Jackie Stewart... Dalglish...?
Both world class.
Murray’s impact at a time when the greatest ever players came together has to be the number one in Scottish sport.
The fact he went 41 weeks as world number one at this time was incredible. Genuinely don’t think he gets the credit as a world class sportsman.

It's subjective, very few people will agree on the subject.

Andy Murray, hardly a bundle of fun but he was one of the greatest tennis players this Country has ever produced.Fred Perry....Mmmmm,his Polo Shirts are too expensive:emoticon-0100-smile
Bet Murray couldn't have beaten Fred at whiff-whaff. :emoticon-0138-think

The one at Yarrows,Scotstoun? Yeah it's huge!!

My old man worked there for years as a senior development engineer on type 22's & 23's.

ships are just crazy big, it honestly blows my mind the size of them, especially when theyre out of the water and you see them all
it almost doesnt make sense the size of them

Jimmy Johnstone out of the 4 of them, what a player!!

Jim Baxter,remember him?

Very well. Entertaining player was Jim. I remember Jimmy Johnstone tearing Leeds United apart.
Unfortunately both of them a bit too fond of a drink or two. But the sort of characters missing nowadays.

It was said that at the peak of his drinking,Baxter was downing 3 bottles of Bacardi a day!!

He had a pub near Ibrox Park that me and a few of my mates would drink in if we were going to a game...Can't remember them ever having a decent white rum in stock though:emoticon-0103-cool:
