It was a decent medal haul and the varied spread shows that sport is in good health in GB, compared to 1970s -1990s.

Boxing and cycling were weaker this OL for GB - don't know enough about either to give a valid answer why.

GB has always struggled with team sports in the olympics - hockey, water polo etc. Maybe football dominates?

There were several close calls that silver could/should have been gold - Peaty, Kerr etc small margins...
I wonder how much the National Lottery funding has reduced since they bollocksed it up adding extra numbers and putting it up to £2... (or has it always been £2)... either way, im sure there are lots less people playing it...

It was 2013 when they increased the price from £1 to £2 and the takings have never reduced, ticket sales now are over £1.1b a year higher than they were in 2013.

30 is geriatric for a diver anyway..

GB at the Olympics shows that ppl are worth investing in - put the money, technology and guidance in and ppl grow and succeed, across all classes and facets of life.

If anyone wants to invest in me donations are more than welcome, the value of your investment may go down or up.
