Not saying Spurs are like Swindon Town, but maybe Sherwood's experience there would bode well for Spurs now, it might be just what you need <whistle>

we could cry and throw our toys out of the pram and try to unsettle other clubs because we feel entitled i suppose <whistle>

Meanwhile, Newcastle and Tottenham will battle to sign Lille's 20-year-old French midfielder Boubakary Soumare.

Let me see...

It's a choice between playing for a club with a future at a great new stadium, or playing in the Championship for a manager who is a Mario looky-likey...

Hmm.

I wonder who will win that battle ?

Of all the cards to play the stadium one was a losing gambit. Capacity of our stadium this season is almost 30k less than yours and we'll probably have a higher average attendance. He may prefer to play for a manager who has actually won trophies rather than just made excuses at a ground where the fans aren't fair-weather whingers.

Realistically he will go to whoever pays him the most. That's modern football. But hell, you seem to think your manager cares about kissing your club badge so the delusion is strong in you clearly.

You speak too soon. Your attendances against the big teams have been vast (70k+) but against others has been much lower, giving you a current average of 52k. Your home games now are just Huddersfield, Brighton, West Ham, Crystal Palace and Everton. If you'd ended up playing the end of the season at Wembley you'd be down in the mid-40's. We turn up every week no matter who the opposition is, that's just the way it is. Suspect they'll come flocking for the first few games at new WHL so you may well end up with a bit of a bounce to be fair.

Through gritted teeth or what <laugh>

Looks much better than the Emirates let's be honest mate.

Not really for the first part, and yes it does look better than the emirates.

At the end of the day though it's a stadium, it's what happens on the pitch that counts.

Spurs fans are treating have a new stadium like a trophy.

Even better than winning the league according to Poch

To arrive to the new stadium in very good condition I think that is more than winning a title.
