got scunthorpe to 2nd tier for first time in decades
kept em up

took southampton from l1 to prem

but then spectacularly bombed at reading n sheff united and got sacked from both
wouldn't really inspire me
 
To be fair Clough did a very good job at Derby I thought, he didn't have a great load of money to spend like some have in the past. Fairly unsuccesful at Sheff United but has done well at Burton.

Would be an interesting appointment. A bit dour mind.

Mine was at a forest game! We'd played a tournament then got to go to the match! We got to stand behind his dugout behind that little white wall they had! BC got so fed up of me & my mate jumping on the wall and shouting of him! WILL YOU 2 **** OFF? I was only 12 the rotten twat! <cheers><cheers>

We've absolutely no idea what our objective is for next season but im sure most of us expect nothing but a promotion push. We'll have one of the strongest teams in the league and hopefully (its still ****ing May) we'll have a decent manager and money to spend.

Silva or no Silva, it makes absolutely no sense, financially or otherwise to aim to stay in championship next season.

On a positive note, im pretty sure the Allams will look for another Marco. They've pretty much said as much with the few statements they've made this year. Turning to a McClaren, Warnock, Rosler etc would be a step backwards and Ehab knows this.

Completely agree. It worked last time so lets try again. It will be more than likely someone in the mold of Silva a more hands on coach and less of a SB type. Would not be surprised if also a Director of football is appointed.
