I'd take a Dutch legend! I still think it McLaren's job to turn down, throw in Adkins as an outsider.
Just hope he makes his decision today, as well as Eham needing not hang around in making a new appointment ,we need Marco to make a quick decision as well.for if it's to to be a new manager its got to be done sooner than later to give us half a chance next season.
Nigel Pearson is now 4/1 favourite for the Sunderland job, also 9/2 2nd favourite for the Boro job (after Jakanovic). Rainieri is the early favourite for the Palace job. Silva's 8/1 Palace, 8/1 Watford and 28/1 Arsenal (only English clubs listed).
I'm not into 'poaching' managers, though I don't think Clough would come here anyway, he dismissed the Nottingham Forest owner's attempt, and our owners are no better than him.

Just a thought, not sure if its been touched on for a while... If/When Silva leaves, does he takes his whole backroom staff with him? Where all the staff signed on the same 6 month deal? If they do walk with Silva, we not only need a new manager but a whole set of backroom staff... thats a bit worrying..
He obviously doesn't want to be here anyway so I don't know why he doesn't resign, he can't be short of money.
I think that's quite clear that they come as a package. Yes if they go we'll have just the academy staff left backroom.
He's been red-hot favourite from the off. Didn't he used to be captain there? If he goes he'll get them promoted next season.
What's money got to do with it? He had a contract break at the end of the season, there's no severance package cos he essentially doesn't work for us.
He did used to be captain there and it does seem a fairly obvious fit, as long as he doesn't call Gibson an ostrich during the interview.
