Managers I'd be tempted to have a look at: Dean Smith at Brentford Grayson at Preston North End Heckingbottom at Barnsley Alexander at Scunthorpe Rösler at Fleetwood All done decent jobs at current clubs given budgets.
I don't think Rosler's a bad manager, rather have Jokanović, but he's better than some that have been rumoured.
still disappointing considering we have just come from the premier league then again we have those ****s in charge
It will be a long season next year. I think we are probably better off with a manager used to the dog fight in this league. Brentford as a footballing side do always impress me.
rosler is an appointment a team who is struggling to stay in the champ like rotherham etc not a team who has spent 5 seasons in the top flight in the last 8 years
Mystic Spes says: I think this relegation will see us lose ALL our saleable assets, they'll be replaced by the our under 21's, journeymen and free transfers on low wages, hopefully they'll be managed by someone competent. The team will either sink or swim but it certainly won't be pushing for promotion; the Allam family will trouser as much of the parachute payment and transfer fees as they can - they won't be gone anytime soon. Attendances will suffer from the loss of the PL whores, those continuing to stay away + those who'll be priced out, it's gonna be a bumpy ride. As ever, it'll be great to be wrong!
Let's hope wba owners are as deluded as some of the posters on here and don't think pulis has done well enough. I'd make Ehab crawl over broken glass to get him as our manager.
We're a worse basket case than we were last summer. No manager is going to want to come here, (I've heard people naming the likes of Paul Lambert or Mick McCarthy on their "want" list). Perhaps Ehab will go to the continent thinking it worked last time. Otherwise, after Marco takes his staff with him it looks like we'll have Billy Russell back to caretaking. What about a player/manager situation. Have any of the team done their badges?
