This morning's pointless odds update... Paul Lambert 4/1 Nigel Adkins 7/2 David Moyes 7/1 Leonid Slutsky 9/1 Uwe Rosler 10/1
I was reading an article about Grayson this morning. He does a lot of close season charity work for prostate cancer after one of his friends succumbed to the horrible disease. He came across in the article really well - I'd actually be quite happy if he was appointed or even a serious candidate.
He's drifted from 10s when I had a bet. At that price if I hadn't already had a bet I defo would now!
I heard at the weekend that he was close to a director of football role. He might get that at Boro now theirs has joined Leeds.
I don't know why people are so anti McClaren to be honest, I think he's a better manager than we are club.
I think at one point people were still smarting about the England thing. But his spells at Derby were a disaster. Can't say Championship is something he is good at negotiating.
This is something you also see this quite a lot with rich business people, they have no interest in charity whatsoever until someone close to them is affected by some condition, and then suddenly they become a big champion of something.
Derby aren't exactly a well run club (and his second spell was very short), not that we are either. No idea if we would do well here, but I don't harbour hatred for him like some.
