McLaren, Adkins, and moyes are awful, regardless of what they achieved 5-6 years ago, no one seems to think Pearson is a joke, just that the allams wouldn't hire him.

So Ehab said he wanted to have the manager in in 2 weeks, with a week now having passed (more or less). Surprised that no concrete news has come out. Was there any truth to the Allams meeting with Monk?
Just seen it floated on Twitter by some who occasionally seem to have the inside track, but on others seem to be BSing, so wanted to see if anyone else had heard similar.
A new manager will be appointed within 24 hours*. FACT * Your guess is as good as mine as to when the 24 hours start ticking down
If this is true they must know who it's going to be or at least have more than 1 decent candidate who wants the job.
I said last week that it would take about two weeks to appoint a new manager and got slated by the knicker wetter who demand we have a new manager NOW two weeks is about right, MS left on Thursday and no doubt all agents where called and asked to send any CV in. Yesterday and rest of this week review and research the applicants, possibly make approaches (doubt we will be ) and plan for interviews next week. Interview immediately next week and could appoint manager by end of week quite easily all been well. HDM are running a story about it today , full of the usual named as potential managers taken from a betting site..... quality journalism!
Not likely mate, see my previous post. ... Common sense tells you two weeks is about right, and the names are just those from sky bet or similar No inside scoop from HDM
Have some forgotten last summer when we needed a manager? It was Martinez, then Coleman, then somebody else and on and on it went until we ended up with the bloke we already had on the books Phelan.
Id be happy with Roy.. I'd prefer to see a left-field manager brought in though. Perhaps someone that's transformed a lower league teams fortunes, a good style of play, contacts etc. I think we are missing a trick by not "looking" for a manager though. It wouldn't be hard to create a shortlist based on the mentioned criteria and then see who's available. Rather than let managers apply for the job and hope at least one of them fits the criteria.. put some bloody work in Ehab.
But the names on the bookies lists are just names of all available managers who they think might be interested in the job. There's no surety that any of them would actually accept an offer from Hull City if one were made, hence my scepticism about this 2-week timeframe, unless things are much further on than we know.
We are unlikely to get an inspired and imaginative appointment like the last one. Heaven knows what lays in wait for us poor downtrodden supporters.
