All this squabbling over players most of us have little knowledge of is madness. He's unproven in the Premier League and he IS in poor form. Why would Marseille sell him otherwise?

We have allegedly offered him 40k a week for 5.5 years. QPR have allegedly offered him 96k per week with a relegation clause and bonus for staying up.
Newcastle are in Europe, have more points on the board and look better equipped to stay up, fair?

So what are his motivations for picking QPR instead? He prefers the kit?

Not on form and not on the fact we are losing Colo , have lost Ba, will be losing Simpson and they are buying world class players.
 
He had a choice, cash or ambition.
We will fibd out tomorrow which he wants.
Either way it's his decision at the end of the day.
I'm thankful he will make his mind up quickly so we can move on.
Id be well pissed if it was 30th January today.

It'll beinteresting to see how thinsg pan out, however we are ina crisis and we are not prepared to do anything about it. We will go down if we don't sign some good players within 2 weeks. The fact is wew are offereing 30-40k per week but in all seriousness it's noweber near enough to get a player of his quality when we are sitting 2 points from relegation. The fact is we should ahve done this in the summer AFTER WE FINISHED FIFTH AND SPENT NOWT. So that is what the clubs done wrong.

I agree that we should have recruited in the summer. I disagree that we should be paying over the odds wage wise.

Also, with regards to your other post, world class?! Implies remy would get in a world 11. Not on my list mate

We are in a situation now where we have two weeks to sign perhaps two CB and two striker in my opinion and I was hoping for Sissocho . If anyone thinks that will happen then here it is. I'll eat my own cock if we do.

When did I say we should pay him that money? I guarantee in the summer we wouldn't have had to.
Ok when I said worldd class I meant an international player but like I've said he's world class in comparrison to our strikers

We will but we wont get them wither because of our league position, currentleague position or like today low wages.

If your in a relegation battlee players will only sign for the money. I mean otherwise why not just wait 4 months and move somewhere then?

Oh come on, I'm getting that you have this staunch cynic thang going on &#8211; that's cool. But you know, we have a MUCH better squad than QPR. With or without new signings.

You're jumping the gun on players leaving and frankly most will be pleased to see the likes of Simmo leave. If Loic Remy was as WORLD CLASS as you think, would his options really be Newcastle and QPR?
