Liverpool loaned him out three times, two of those loans were cancelled due to injury.

As far as I can see he had one ankle injury back in 2016 but that was the only one. As he only missed a month I don't think it was too severe. I know when I did mine badly I was out for a year and it still troubles me, but I can't imagine an injury causing a month of lay-off would be too long lasting.

Seems like Stewart is being labelled a sick-note already. He got a slight injury, as all players do, and due to the fact that we don't have enough players Slutsky was forced to play him before he was fit. Judge him after he's actually had an appropriate recovery time.

Recalled from Cheltenham in January 2015 due to injury.

Recalled from Swindon in January 2016 due to injury (he'd been out for four months when they recalled him).

Doesn't necessarily make him a sick note, but it's a bit of a concern.

I don't really understand why we'd play him if he was injured. Short term maybe ok as he's better than one of our youth CMs but playing him will more than likely have aggravated the injury. Could even have played Mazuch and pushed hector into midfield

From our perspective, no news is bad news.

I'm in such a fatalistic mood today, that I don't really care about the impact on the team. I just hope that Moses and Ryan make excellent recoveries that means they can live a normal, pain-free life and go on to have successful careers, whether as a player or other direction.

Good to get Campbell back but could be a tough break for Mason.
