The husband used to be a policeman and as we have loads of police and retired police he was well known.
I think we are too quiet for them, I know Bixhop have loads of funerals weddings etc We do not. Although the only time we did not have Christmas lunch at home they did it at the club... it was superb

Thinking of joining Castle Eden next year. I have played once in two years due to an elbow issue, which seems to have now healed. Getting the bug again so as it's local, I thought why not. Good idea?

Played the course at Sharpley. Really enjoyable but found the undulations quite tough. I’m used to flatter courses! Some really lovely views too!

Had a similar episode at Close House, all day Sunday session and played on the Monday, ****in red hot day and I was in a mess. Bushes, golf towel and absolute heaven.

Couldn’t wait to get back in the clubhouse, I completed the full 18 though.

I'm on a trip away to Thailand next month with some of the guys....never been there before, but I understand the caddies there (well some of them) are stunning. Just how do you concentrate on the golf??

I have been told that the trip has golf involved. There are a couple of guys who turned 50 this year, so about 20 of us are going out there...could be brutal, could be tame..who knows
