STRIKING pilots were today stripped of their staff travel concessions for three years by defiant British Airways bosses.
Stunned cockpit crew were reeling after the rumoured threat became a reality, costing them tens of thousands of pounds.

Shame,they only earn £200 K a year

Not just footballers JM.
I don't regard myself as being very articulate or grammatically perfect, but compared to modern talk, and text talk I might not be that bad

I subscribe to a few forums / fora on facebook, birds, butterflies and local life in
the GEM of the Norfolk coast...(bar none) <ok>
I'd say at least 50% of comments contain an incorrect 'should of', or cock ups with 'there / their / they're'.
I used to put my grammar :police: hat on but don't bother any more as I seem to be in the minority. <grr>
In another decade, we'll be a nation of complete illiterates <yikes>

Even in texts/emails, I TRY to use grammar 'proper like' <laugh>

Make the most of today - it COULD be the last warm day this year!!!
Just out after four (4) gruelling days in NNUH. (I appear to have a season ticket for Langley Ward <doh>)
New neck line for dialysis fitted and treated with antibiotics for sepsis...nice! :emoticon-0145-shake
One of my fave short walks is Salthouse duckpond to the beach, back up to the coast road then a long track that runs up to Kelling school or Weybourne camp and Muckleburgh hill. Blackberries galore along there at the moment, so grazing on the hoof involved! Always loads of birds, hares, dragonflies etc.
Be rude not to take advantage of the last 'summery' weekend <ok>
Then a choice, Essex vs Derbys in T20 finals day or the action from Turf Moor? :emoticon-0112-wonde

Boris Johnson's decision to suspend Parliament was unlawful, the Supreme Court has ruled.

Mr Johnson suspended - or prorogued - Parliament for five weeks earlier this month, but the court said it was wrong to stop MPs carrying out duties in the run-up to Brexit on 31 October.

Supreme Court president Lady Hale said "the effect on the fundamentals of democracy was extreme".

Well done Boris,resign.
What a **** up by this government
