Don't worry, Boris, his 'chums' in the newly thrown together cabinet and
Tory voters earning north of £50K a year will be fine.
While the rest of the nation gets repeatedly shafted.
This is indeed a tragic day in the history of the U.K. - RIP.

Sorry but how is that different to any government? Every Tory Gov looks after the wealthy shafting the less well off. Boris et al will be no different. A Labour government ****s the same people by bankrupting the country whilst the rich continue to outsmart any move to support the outrageous spending.
Boris getting in may well be tragic as he certainly appears an utter buffoon, but the tragic day if you disagree with Brexit was when Cameroon thought he knew the people and called the vote.
For what it's worth I do not think Boris will be any worse than May regarding the Brexit debarcle and negotiations, both were/are buggered by a cabinet that will never get behind a poor deal (The EU will never offer anything else) or a no deal, nothing else except revoking Article 50 seems a possible option, but not only does that also look impossible to get through parliment but that still appears tantamount to political suicide given Tory voting demographics.
So what ever Boris thinks he wants is doomed to fail as no matter how behind him the Tories say they are in the immediate aftermouth of this vote he will have the problem that whilst 75% of constituencies vote for brexit, a minority of MP's believe in it or support it, an even lesser group would support a hard brexit. So what in hells name can he do short of calling for another election, hope that enough people get behind tories supportive of no deal and Nige's lot backing then, to force something through.
It's that or a second referendum and no one seems to be talking about or wanting that either.

As someone on the fence about the whole brexit thing, I could have been happy either way, The EU is deeply flawed but thinking about it one of the reasons to want to leave was that our politicians seem weak and ineffective in general but certainly in Europe, so expecting them to be anything else in trying to exit Europe was likely to disappoint in just the way it has.

I cannot see any resolution to this. Maybe the EU will fall apart and extricate us from this mess!

Bah!

There's a story on the EDP website about a 3 car crash at Cringleford with a tweet from South Norfolk police saying there were no injuries but it could of been much worse.

So much for constabulary education!!!

They should be made to pay for their rescue!!!
Two people were rescued after being cut off by the tide at Brancaster - days after a similar operation just a few hundred yards away.

But where should paying for your own stupidity start and finish? Mountain rescue, for changeable conditions? Or perhaps for an injury? How about when playing rugby of football? Break an ankle, you know the risks, surely you must pay for the ambulance, perhaps the treatment too!

Bah!
