Same old,same old. Lack of affordable council housing,goes all the way back to Tories "right to buy" polcy. Selling off council housing on the cheap was a Tory scheme to convince "property owners" they now had to vote Tory ,to protect their wealth. To make matters worth,Thatcher and her cronies then restricted Councils from spending the additional income to build new housing,and was used to prop up the lower grants to Councils from the Govt. Alfie Hewett and Andy Lapthorne won two US Open titles apiece, sealing both the singles and doubles crowns in their respective divisions in New York.
