With apparently Gerrard, Lampard, Terry, Ferdinand, Cole and Terry all set to retire after the Euros we are going to have a whole new team again after the Euros. If Harry Redknapp is appointed manager he might be able to convice Lampard to play on a little longer as they are family but we are still going to have a new team.

So if we are going to have a new team the under 21's will be coming into the team and Stuart Pearce knows them all and knows how to play them as a team. So instead of Redknapp coming in a building from complete scratch should we let Stuart Pearce continue his work from the under 21s. I know Redknapp is the outstanding candidate but i think in the long run Pearce may prove a better option.

So i would pick Stuart Pearce as new manager and i have a funny feeling he will be the new manager

<ok> He has manage U21 for 6 years he knows all the players

BUT, still think Redknapp for the job or O'Neil

The England manager has to deal with what he has, he cannot buy, he also has to deal with big egos, not many managers can do both, but Redknapp would be top of that list.

I not knocking Redknapp but he has been backed heavily at Spurs and has got some cracking players from around the world. International football is about getting the best out of what you got.

Stuart Pearce knows the set up and knows the players well that are coming through

OLM is talking about Cameron Stewart

Don't want him.

I've seen him enough times to realise he's not worth over 2m.

Apart from a very good patch during december he's not done anything, really.

AVB has been sacked.

Can't say I'm surprised. When you lose a dressing room like he did, then it was always going to be tough and that is when you need a supportive owner and that is what AVB never had. I think Abramovich is to blame because his constant hiring and firing has meant that this team has never had a chance to evolve and someone needs to do that job for Chelsea and to do it, they need to be given time.

I did find it a strange decision to give that job to such an inexperienced man. They had the right man for me in Ancelotti and they were stupid to sack him. I can see Jose returning or Guardiola (who has made noises about leaving) getting the job.

Chelsea winning at Man City.

Stays as it is then United will win the league no doubt.

@kschmeichel1: Thanks for the great support tonight it was a massive honour to Captain such a great club #highriskarmy

@John__Percy: Beginning to see why #swfc fans (and former manager) got so pi$$ed off at missing out on Ben Marshall. Going to be some player for #lcfc

@JamesNursey: #LCFC boss Pearson felt side tried hard but lacked cutting edge. Feels Marshall, who played behind strikers in first half, has big potential

@JamesNursey: #LCFC Sean St Ledger is a laugh and seems a good lad. He's just been in the press box chasing a journo for money who lost a bet with him!

@JamesNursey: #NFFC Cotterill told press delighted with display and the point....clearly set out for the draw going 4-4-1-1 and got it.
