There will be about 50% boos, 40% non-reaction and 10% cheers, kinda like when Maynard was coming on for BC towards the end.
 
Both Darius Vassell and Martyn Waghorn are back in light training and both trained today in the open training session. Neither done a full session, Nigel said we could see both back before the end of the season

He also said Tunchev isnt injured its just competition

Sol Bamba and John Pantsil still arent back yet and so Nigel doesnt know if they will be back in time for saturday

Well Yaya Toure played for Man City tonight so I think Sol should be alright.

BTW, how was the open training session for anyone that went.
 
Portsmouth are now officially in administration. They will now be docked points, because its the 2nd time in 2 years they could be docked as many as 20 points.

If they are docked 20 points i think they will get relegated and it could be the end of them
 
It looks like Mandaric isnt far from getting rid of Megson. There was rumours over the weekend Megson had been sacked and today Mandaric has come out and said the rumours arent true. But it doesnt look good for Megson, we all know what Milan is like with managers
 
With Pompey in dire straights and needing to offload as many players as possible, i think we should go in for Marko Futacs. He scored their goal against us here and looked decent. He surely would be a better bet then Steve Howard anyway

Agreed.

I think he's averaged 1 in 2 since he joined Pompey, i'm pretty sure his debut was against us and he was quality.
 
Jeff Schlupp has signed a new 3 year contract. Great news for us as he is going to be some player and i think we may have some clubs sniffing around for him in the summer. We him being under a new contract and us being financially secure it would take a mega offer for us to consider selling him
 
Bit of other news, not really worthy of it's own thread though, is that we've signed 19 year-old midfielder Corey Gregory on a youth loan from Sheffield United. Reading FT, I think it's a similar deal to the one we had with Danny Uchechi whereby it was basically a trial to see if we want to sign him. Hopefully Walshy's unearthed another gem <ok>
 
From what i have seen from Sheffield United fans he is a winger who isnt fast, the references arent that good from the looks of things but i trust Steve Walsh
 
First things first, i hate Adrian Chiles with a passion

Does anyone agree with Scott Parker as captain. I think he is a very good choice but i would of had Gerrard.

Does anyone think England can win tonight? I think Hollands danger 3 (Sneijder, Van Persie and Robben) might prove to be a little too much for us
