I wouldn’t be against giving Vestergaard a go, but we MUST defend deeper as he (And Evans) are slow. I felt for him a bit last year as he was awful yet BR was insistent on playing him higher up the pitch like a lamb to slaughter
Dont want to comment on the game itself but couldnt help but notice the number of empty seats at the game. Nice sunny day and an expected win so why is this?

I wonder what the chances are of us holding onto Fofana until January while still being able to get the best out of him. Amartey is starting to look out of his depth again. Am I the only one who thought he could have headed the ball away for the second Saints goal if he'd actually jumped? I already had him down as being at fault for both Brentford goals. Eight goals conceded in 3 games - worst in the division.
Up front we lack self-belief and aggression. One shot on target yesterday from a free kick and a start striker who only had 11 touches of the ball. With Lookman gone we lack any real pressing and pace. It's looking like a long and difficult season with the current squad.

Amartey had a bit of a shocker ...
I'd play Vestergaard, Soyuncu and Evans in a back 3 with Castagne and Justin as wing backs. Vestergaard not only has the size but he is one of the best long range passers at the club ... he could enable the wing backs from deep ...
Wilf shielding the back 3 and KDH and Madders in the engine room ... Vardy and Barnes as twin strikers ...
