We did once upon a time under Milan Mandaric

Martin Allen, Gary Megson, Ian Holloway

How did that season end???

Probably the same way Watford’s will
Megson left for Bolton if I remember rightly. He may well have seen the season out so not like we sacked multiple managers during that season. Holloway left during the summer

Megson was the one manager that very nearly ended my life long love affair with the club. . Never was the term 'anti-football' mire appropriate ...

Nigel Pearson in line for the Watford job. I might have a new second favorite team if he gets it. Sorry Doncaster.
I dont get why any manager would take that job. If they did appoint Pearson, Allardyce, Hughton or someone like that. If they did keep them up they will sack him in the summer

Why are they changing their model now? Simply because everyone at the club is panicking

Their model is "sack as many managers as possible" so if Pearson doesn't keep them up, then they can sack him too.

Don't see him going there, Pearson won't take any of their boards ****.

He has signed a contract until the end of the season by the sounds of it

I dont think its a good fit unless Watford change their model which I cant see them doing

Rumour is they asked Javi Gracia to come back this morning and he said no

Claude Puel has had a pop at Jamie Vardy saying he is “like a child and needs attention”
I've never been able to understand anything Puel said and don't think I'll bother starting now either. You could replace 'Vardy' in that with any other PL player, tbh. <laugh>

It’s probably that Puel doesn’t like it that someone is having far better success with pretty much the same set of players that he had. If I were him I’d be as inconspicuous as I could.

Could someone post the full article from the Daily Fail - disabled my adblock and still can't view their ****ty site.

As per usual, the the heading is sensationalised bollocks - full quote regarding Jaime that I found elsewhere is not a negative one:

“I did not have a problem with Jamie, Jamie is a good man but sometimes he is like a child: he needs support, he needs attention. It was difficult for me because I was not English, it was difficult to share and explain all my feelings with him. When I arrived at Leicester, he scored a lot of goals. He came back from the World Cup injured, he returned without training sessions. It was difficult for me to use him all the time. I have a lot of time for him."

Still here, just not a lot to say! It's now abundently clear that we can't perform well without Ndidi and although Choudhury has been playing well, all the refs now have an eye on him so anything which could be interpreted as a bad foul is resulting in a yellow card. He's done that to himself unfortunately, so will have to stop playing his natural game and be far less effective as a result. I just hope Ndidi is back for the Man City game, otherwise a 0-0 is probably the best we can hope for.

Is James fit yet? I know he’s registered.

wouldn’t be suprised to see him replace Choudhury as the holder if so. Or am I bonkers...
