Congratulations Great Britain
Nah. Congratulations Wales. Teams or players are always British when they win, but their own countries when they lose. So let's be consistent.
And England fans in the midst of trouble again.
Congratulations Great Britain
...A French fan said he was drinking and laughing with England fans when they were attacked by a mob. Yes, they probably should have run, but that isn't in everyone's nature. I would kick a gas canister back if it was thrown at me as well.
No excuse for real troublemakers, but I want to see some French and Russian people arrested as well. After all the French motto is about equality.
I've just had a text from a friend who went to the game. He says he's now in a bar full of Welsh and French and as far as he can tell none of the Welsh have bought a drink yet as the French are payingThe Welsh fans have managed to stay out of bother, trouble just seems to follow the English about.

I can be sympathetic, but this is where the trouble starts. Anyone with any common sense just stays out of trouble. One walks away. I'm afraid there is no excuse.
England fans have been attacked for 3 days straight by both the French and Russians. They have had bottles, chairs, flares thrown at them, been punched, kicked in the head, and then when they defend them selves they get absolutely slammed by the media!
Something very wrong there, but it sells papers so **** it!
OK, I haven't been away to watch England. But I've coincidentally been in the same city on a couple of occasions when England supporters have been there and I've walked amongst them. And if anyone thinks they are angels then they are rather naive. The best thing I did after being amongst them was get as far away from them as possible. In one instance, within half an hour they were in trouble. The fault is not under question. If England supporters go abroad, en masse, sooner or later there will be trouble. Most of my friends are non-football people. They would instantly understand what I'm saying.I've not seen tonight at all, but by all accounts they were attacked, so that's wrong, but who attacked them last night. I was told this morning on here that it was provocation from the French police... Still no need to react on that.
And yes, I've travelled to watch England away and somehow I managed to not throw any bottles, punch anyone, be punched or be involved in any. It was happening where I was though.
I'll say again, I'm not talking about tonight, but why can't fans behave themselves, such as Friday?
