Will make sure to watch that. Hell, I'll probably watch them all.

Think that Turkey v Croatia could well be the best game, though.

Would really like to see Northern Ireland do well and qualify for next stage, esp for our Steven Davis, but not sure that their defence will be able to deal with the Polish attack today.

Oh FFS, wife and daughter are out at dance all day, so Once I've dropped the bunnies off to the bonding lady this morning, what the hell will me and the lad do until 2pm? Oh yes, he can revise while I do the gardening...

    .... Oh it's raining!

He can revise while I flick between the cricket and the grand prix. It would be really nice if they can make the first 45 minutes of the Grand Prix mega exciting and then have it settle down to a procession, so I don't feel bad when I watch the football at 2pm.

Sunday sorted. Oh wait - I'll have to pack at half time of one of the games for my trip.

After 3 days of "battles" between rival fans and the police, I wonder if the English FA should at least offer to pay something towards the clearing up operation on the streets? It would b the least they could do.

Want all the home nations to do well (and also ROI as they are kinda cousins)...especially because of Davis and Long.

I said many months ago that this tournament has become too bloated with too many teams. This has brought problems with louts and hooligan elements from several countries thus taking the attention away from the field of play to off-field issues and I think this is going to have an impact on England's performances as unfortunately some England fans have been caught up in the issue.

Russians still in denial...apparently there was no violence and the England fans just ran for the exits. And even though there was no violence, the stewarding wasn't good enough (make your bloody mind up). Of course the Russian representatives in the stadium have to wait for their bosses in Moscow to tell them what happened.

They must have missed the photos in all the papers of fans being punched in the stadium.

In other news, no one was trying to get out of the Soviet bloc, its just that a lack of stewards at the Berlin wall led to a few Germans running away from their neighbours in the East.

And remember most England fans are decent people like us. Just because some fans are hooligans does not mean that all are. It could be you or I caught up in that....it will be a great shame if true football fans feel unable to go abroad for matches. And noticeably few women or kids go already.

The thing I struggle with is, as we entered this tournament, we knew there was a real threat of terrorism, yet mindless yobs are stretching the police & taking attention from security details. Totally unforgivable. Feel really sorry for the people getting caught in the cross fire, this is not just an England problem by any road.

The French authorities and police are absolutely useless. They learned nothing from the '98 World Cup. How is it Euro '96 passed off entirely peacefully, while the French completely balls up twice?

And the stadium security? What the hell was going on there? More police at St. Mary's on a Saturday afternoon.

I guess they've highlighted how poor the security currently is. If fans are taking in fireworks, what else can people smuggle into stadiums?

I seem to remember we had some on here that would welcome a Northam Ultra culture, complete with flares, fireworks and a bit of thuggery as it would be "fun" and improve the atmosphere at matches, the euphoria being shown in the Chapel is simply not for them.

None of this would ever be allowed to happen in the UK.

(I mean that seriously by the way. Some big wigs need to get a grip, very fast)
