It basically has devolved into a bunch of right wingers, quoting, linking and discussing racist and bigoted ****, yet claiming through some bullshit caveat, that they are none of these things, they just permanently drown themselves in Right wing media for a laugh.
Then on the other, a bunch of left wing people who have just boiled down to hurling insults at the right wingers and offering little else of relevance (in some cases) because they have the moral high ground. (I include myself in this bracket too, whats good for the goose.....)

Its boring, its spanned over 2500 pages over 3 different threads now, the same half a dozen people talking ****......

The only silver lining of all this is that I have come to realise how much of a ****ing scumbag Kustard is, a guy who I previously thought was semi decent. (And yes I realise the irony of this sentence given the sentence in bold, but it's a fact.)

There are a couple of reasons that so many insults are being hurled, in my opinion.
Firstly, about half of the left wingers are invisible to the right, so they're posting stuff for the amusement of those that can see them.
Secondly, any and all attempts at reasoned argument are ignored and deflected.

The other thing is that people are taking offence at things that aren't insults or abuse.
If I point out that Breitbart is an exceptionally ****ty source, full of racists, bigots and bullshit, that's not a criticism of the person posting it.
I'm not calling them a racist or a bigot, merely pointing out that they might want to look elsewhere.
It's heavily ridiculed by those on the right, having taken Fox's template and run off a cliff with it.
