I think Pete needs some serious help. He has totally lost the small mind he had.
If ever there was a personification of a Daily Nazi indoctrinated reader, it's Pete.

A living and breathing embodiment of what the non domicile Billionaire right wing press owners have sought to create.

What is my argument?

I haven't made an argument.
Pauls comment was in context of a wider discussion and all I have said is that I understand why he made it in light of earlier comments being made.
You appear to be arguing with me for the sake of it.

I wasn't arguing with anyone, I was responding initially to a short video clip and then directly to a comment Paul made. I deliberately did not mention immigration as it's not something I want to get involved in.
You jumped in and tried to turn it into an ongoing immigration debate, therefore I suggest it was you trying to "stoke the fire"
As I said, please stop trying to put words into my mouth. If I want an immigration discussion, I will either start one or join in with one that's currently going on.

Who posted that video clip and why did they post it?

I suggest to you that by responding to it you joined the existing discussion. Whether you realised it or not.

He's keeping Kustard entertained. Although I doubt Kustard has the faintest idea what Pete is blethering about, remember that he liked one of Tobes's posts when he had Pete's grid in his avatar <laugh>

Recent votes show that Politics has been dumbed down to the level of an X Factor vote.

It appears that politicians integrity is a thing of the past. Tell the electorate a complete crock of ****, get elected and turn turtle on the promises made. So sorry, people falling for it, are ****ing idiots de facto

The Brexit vote has seen nearly half the nation agog at the decision made by the other half. That's not the establishment, that's half the ****ing populous!

I agree about the X Factor comment. It applies to all leanings.

At present, the left would lose on issues or personalities. That's not healthy.

As for the populous, most thought the EU was in need of radical change. Some thought it could be done from the inside, despite the evidence to the contrary.

A vote to remain would have been seen as a mandate for the EU to press on as it has been. It's still trying that now, depute the vote.

I understand why it was posted, but I deliberately only responded to the automation part and then Paul's comment directly. You can "suggest" till the cows come home, but you would be wrong.

Christ you are bloody hard work.
Pauls comment WAS a response to a wider ongoing discussion and that is why you appear to have not understood why he made those comments. That IS the only claim I have made.

I have made no judgement on your comments regarding automation and have not claimed you have made comments regarding immigration. I have put no words in your mouth and I am not stoking any fires as you put it.

I agree with the first 2 sentences.

However, I disagree with the rest. As I think whilst many had misgivings about aspects of the EU they took the view that being in it (and notably the single market) was more beneficial than leaving it. Radical change within the EU was never on the menu.

The idea that a Remain vote would have been seen as a green light for increased federalism is assumptive, a narrow win for Remain could have equally sent out a message that the EU needed to take heed of the views of the people. The UK was one of the constant brakes on the federalist ideals, as we had the power of veto, without us it may be taken as a green light by the federalists. Albeit, I still maintain that there's little desire for it amongst the majority of the major players across the EU.

Let me say this again. I was perfectly aware of how both the video and Paul's comment came about (a ongoing discussion around immigration). As I have now said numerous times, I didn't want to be part of that discussion either deliberately or otherwise. That is why I was very careful with my choice of words. I don't get why you seem to find that hard to understand?
This is going the same way as our discussion last week, you seem to have a desire to constantly have the last word.

We are not exactly renowned for skill training in the UK anymore. We have become a 'be a bricklayer/plumber/electrician etc in six weeks' country. The term engineer is used far too loosely by those who are not qualified e.g. washing machine engineer, when they are technicians.
I only mentioned the need to bring in non-British workers for the benefit of others on this thread who do not want any immigration at all.
Can you show any evidence of these "others on this thread who do not want any immigration at all" actually existing, or are they just a figment of yours and other like minded imbeciles imaginations?

Thanks in advance. <ok>

A rarity, but I actually agree. I am definitely agog at the lesser half (of voters, not the nation) that failed to vote leave.

I wouldn't say they don't want it at all. Just nowhere near them, only when we have zero unemployment otherwise and as long as they can pass an English O Level from 1953. Blue eyes would also be a bonus.

Careful sonny. You nearly stepped out of the shallow end and your lifeguards aren't around to put a supportive hand under your chin....

......or tell you what to think :emoticon-0136-giggl

Sonny :cheesy:

Maybe I could learn something from the estate agent who talks about shagging old women and describes those way above him in his industry as unemployed. It would be quicker to just skim read today's Mail.
