NGC 6916 is a Barred Spiral Galaxy in the Cygnus constellation. NGC 6916 is situated north of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the northern hemisphere. Given its B magnitude of 15.3, NGC 6916 is visible with the help of a telescope having an aperture of 20 inches (500mm) or more.

English Electric Type 3 No. 6921 stabled at Gloucester Horton Road MPD on 17th September 1969. 'Peak' Class No. 94 is stabled to the rear.
D6921 was new from Vulcan Foundry in January 1964 and allocated to Landore (87E). It was withdrawn as No. 37221 in September 2008 and cut-up by CF Booth of Rotherham during May 2009.
